ITS LIKE THIS RIGHT NOW IN BDO, THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO DON'T GO COOKIE CUTTER BUILDS ARE PEOPLE WHO DON'T CARE AND WOULDN'T VISIT THOSE WEBSITES ANYWAY.

Why is this so -----ing hard to get into your skulls?

Because... There is no cookie cutter build based on any factual information? (And please don't say "but KR tho".. we are a far stretch from that game in a number of ways). Also, the caps did help get the point across. 9_9

The real reason they don't disclose this Info is because they just don't want to have to deal with the bug reports that would flood in when most of this stuff is proven not to work like they thought they had programmed it to work

I've said it 17 times in this thread alone, 3 of them in replies to you (right now, I'm exaggerating to get the point across, trying every method here).

You're still refusing to acknowledge that the class discords do, indeed, have very set cookie cutter builds set up.

Ah now I see what you meant by "but there is". Yes, on the class discord forums there is very relevant information for that class,  culminated sorted and bookmarked for everyone's viewing pleasure. Based entirely off of common sense information about the classes that everyone has access to. It's not a standard because it was compiled through updated NA datamined information by a small group of people and then divulged to the masses- No, it's information we all have access to and anyone with half a brain can figure out on their own lol. 

So I will amend my prior statement by saying there is no cookie cutter build out there that's a news flash to anyone with a brain.... I hope that clears things up.

I'm going to add to this as best as I can. Lets say you make a T ET Liverto vs TET Kzarka, The Kzarka yields more damage due to the hidden stats based on accuracy, if both players are le ts say the same class, in case of ninja, most ninja's moves have low accuracy, if liverto player does a move where he has 10% accuracy vs the kzarka player 10% accuracy with the additional hidden accuracy, the kzarka player's damage will yield higher because all his moves are connecting, and to add, accuracy stacks into AP as a hidden stat.

I can understand how confusing this is for players because not a lot of them can really comprehend nor spreedsheet/research the hidden stats as easily as others can. Everyone is different and from the side of the fence that does spreadsheeting, I can understand the frustration. It should be easy to implement hidden stat's as %'s to people to know hopefully what their getting from armor, and even adding in like, hey, yuria gives me +5 additional a p for example, or hey this kzarka gives +10 accuracy. I will provide an additional example.

Hidden stats are very important, especially if let's say on a pure AP build vs a full Evasion hidden stat ninja we're to occur. Ninja's have a natural 10% evasion. If you we're a pure AP build vs a Evasion hidden stat ninja, ninja's are near unkillable, now if the pure AP build could hit the ninja in theory he would be destroyed espcially if let's say the ap build has 270 AP. But with the hidden stats of evasion, it is highly doubtful the pure AP build would outlast the ninja if they would very skilled and equal in terms of gear level, if the ninja we're to say have 230 ap and 280 dp, in addition to all the evasion as again just like accuracy, evasion goes into DP as a hidden stat. Hopefully you see where this is going.

So this concern needs to be addressed, it is an issue that I wholeheartedly would like to see changed, and stats to be shown. Warcraft has done it with crit, hit, ect, even if they did away with it, in a game like this something like that is very important to note, %'s make a huge different in this game because the most minor of stats can snowball into other moves making them vastly stronger.

This is actually a decent reason to have the stats SHOWN cause builds like this would be immediately exposed to everyone and therefore fixed rather than hidden, obscured and used by, yanno, everyone at the top of the food chain when the rest of the class is complaining it's bad.

We dont even have "transparency" about what's thoses kakao EU guys are really doing, if / what they are reporting - communicating with KR... so... its sure not that soon we are going to have answer about how the game really work

I was explaining that hidden stats make all the difference, and was giving scenario's to explain why, I edited the post, hopefully it makes more sense.

It's funny to read all the hypocrites who read all the information dug up by other players, all the reflections and debate to get the better build and combos, and then promote hiding all to other players. You are geniuses, it may even help to win some fights against those who overcomitted their time in baits like Liverto.

Honestly; I kinda enjoy this game with all it's hidden stats and stuff. Like the people testing for the hidden stats are like scientist trying to understand life and how it all works.

I agree with you that testing, theorycrafting and the like is something that is fun in games. Having been a crafter/plant grower in FFXI, I still for whatever reason have fond memories of the times of "To get the optimum result we need to face NW, on a Firesday, with the moon being a Waning gibbous." That kind of stuff was fun. The reason why that same type of situation is not fun is because unlike earth and science, literally everything in BDO could at any minor or major patch completely flip. 

The idea of science is that you have a constant, so when you discover something you can start making new hypothesis based on what is a constant. The issue here is, there is no true constant because especially with DP on accessories, they don't even have the decency to tell you if your DP is evasion DP or DR DP.

Then we have to assume that the coding is even correct, now I might not be remembering correctly, but for the longest time weren't the nodes broken so that any energy you put into it was essentially pointless? How can you test something that's broken, how do you even discover it IS broken? It's reasons like that which make the idea of theorycrafting unfulfilling in BDO because you're never even sure that what you are testing is working as intended to begin with.

They still are. There was a thread on the general forum in the past week with more results supporting the idea that it doesn't do any damned thing.

Reminds me of an example I used on the forums a while ago.

They're smart as ----- though. You can't "buy" durability with real cash nor can you buy RNG boxes, so most of the RNG/hidden values related legislation does not apply.

John goes to the casino with 2000$ and wants to play roulette. When John approaches the roulette table, he notices that the roulette is hidden below a black cloth that only the dealer can manipulate to check the numbers. The dealer tells John that he can only play by 100$ increments, and on different numbers. With that being said, the dealer ensures the system is fair and that there's no scam involved. John decides to play and puts 100$ on 14. The dealer spins the roulette, and unfortunately, tells John he didn't win. As he can only play by 100$ increments and on different numbers, this time, John puts 100$ on 17 and 100$ on 14. This goes on until John doesn't have any money left and leaves the casino.

Now the question is, how likely is it for John to keep going to this casino expecting to win when other casinos don't hide the roulette ?

the game is trash.. its basically a glorified video slot machine

Well this casino has strong drinks and the hottest waiting staff currently in the business. Sounds like John is going to have a hard time making reasonable decisions regarding his roulette game and slot machines, yesssss?

Doing this is BS. It will allow people to come up with perfectly maxed-out builds for every class. There will be no variety, no experimentation - nothing. There's plenty to fix in the systems of BDO, but stats transparency is NOT among the issues.

If there are perfectly maxed-out builds and only cookie cutter options.. then maybe we should find wisdom near the Velia warehouse. If we wait long enough the true answer to this will be exclaimed by a small shai who will tell you... "DO IT BETTER!!"

So the Siege Map got updated to fix the horse skin and we had to download 40 megs and have a 2 hour emergency maintenance for what looks like.. around 30bytes worth of change?

Nah, the siege map change is another thing, for the horse skin this is the language data, translation data and exportoriginalstring_kr that had a line bugging it out of game.
