Hello,

Im back after a long break from BDO and currently i am playing Musa almost 57 lvl however i'm simply bored of it.
I would like to start/reroll new class and im pretty curious of 2 i've mentioned in subject line (valk or zerk)

Generally i like both of them and i would really like to hear pros and cos of each. Im not here to be OP i just wanna have fun for sure and to do chill farm/grind (including bosses)

Any answer would be highly appreciated

p.s.

my budget isn't the highest all i got are ~400m

Valk is very difficult to farm mobs with, also currently suffering from a bug that the devs have made no effort to address, that is a bugged block.

A highly geared valk is a nightmare, but so Is a zerker, Both of them are cc machines, valk seems to have more damage while zerk has more survivability.

Overall I would place zerk at like 8.7/10 and valk (WITHOUT BLOCK BUG) at 8.2/10.

More people that I know say they enjoy playing their zerk, rather than the two valks I know who are both considering rerolling.

Zerk is a bit hard to learn movement for though.

Good luck!

Make a Valk if you want to be in constant worries about what the devs are doing with your class. Do you like visit the forum often, share with other people suffering the same issues as you, testing every skill after every patch just to feel safe for another week and that kind of stuff?? Then make a Valk, it will fit your likings.

"Jokes" asides i think Zerker is a more well rounded character overall. Their grabs are far superior, so do their heals, bigger hp pool, better mobility with less effort, more reliable/usefull 100% spirit rage and less desync dependant (for what i have seen)

Valk in the other hand offers a constant block (broken haha), stutational group buffs/heals, kinda of more short burst dmg and movement (if mastered the class), but for me the main problem of Valk is the Desync and her narrow hitboxes, that alone killed the class so many times for me.

I think i will roll Zerker because im in love with Gotha rensa or something outfit on him + plus i like that zerker style. However its a bit shame that valk the only paladin looking like class is that bugged ;/ i was playing many paladins before - such a nice thing... anyway i would like to ask you guys about warrior if it is possible? So many ppl offer this class to play as, why so? is it that good or has some advantage over zerk/valk?

I tried warrior and suffered my *ss off 'til 56, then when I got the awakening, I just felt like the animations, even if it felt kinda funny, were not really adapted to that kind of sword (pretty fast and broken animations for a greatsword, they felt cut somehow...). While it seems to be a very powerful class that doesn't need you to be a super pro to get sh*t done, it also seems to lack combos and I'm scared it would be even more boring for you if you got bored of musa. But watch some videos or try it out if you got the time, and maybe i'll be wrong all the way.

I played valk and I felt like it was actually too hard for me to master the basics of the class. Right now i'm giving a shot to maehwa, which is REALLY damn different of musa. Pre 50 is very fun, 50-56 feels almost as boring as musa because of the blade hitting like an old stick... I just reached 56 a few minutes ago and still need to upgrade my kerispear but I expect to get some good fun out of this class even if it doesn't seem to be the best to do mindless grinding. If you're interested, you might want to give it a try aswell.

I started out in the game as a Sorc player and then a Wizard, I switched to Zerker and never looked back at the two. I love my Zerker in PvP and PvE, while you have to have 200 AP to grind decently unlike my Wizard and Sorc, (They do well with 160-180). The only classes that give me a huge issue in PvP are Maewas and Tamers (Unless, I corner them). Valk, I never had an interest in leveling to be honest so I could not tell you about them. You can't go wrong with a Zerker though, since they are highly sought and are very needed as part of the frontline team.

Learn combos and animation cancels with a Zerker and you will have some fun.

My highest level class is a Valk and she is a bulldozer. The only thing that I run from are red/ Purple elites but she does take longer to do anything with. She doesn't carry potions and she doesn't come in until weight hits 96% but again, it's a long haul to that. Strictly in terms of speed and efficiency in PvE Maehwa is my go to. I very little experience with Zerk. Tried him and really didn't like him. He felt clunky to me but to each their own.

Valk is slow on PvE, it doesn't/shouldn't die; unfortunately, if you're trying to farm, valk is a bit slow.  Damage low compared to other classes.  Between the two, I think berserker may be the better option.  You can use in pvp too.
