Upon Enhancement, players can now choose between Enhancement types.

  • Affected Items: Green-level Gear with Enhancement Lv. +14 and below (Reformed gear included)

  • Enhancement types are divided into [Enhance] and [Durable].

  • Now players can choose the Enhancement type when placing relevant gear into the Enhancement slot.

  • Choosing [Enhance] will increase the success rate of the enhancement attempt, at the risk of additional durability loss should a failure occur.

  • Choosing [Durable] will decrease the success rate of the enhancement attempt, but minimize the amount of durability lost if the enhancement fails.

 

is the new system the same as Kr? 

Or was it due to so much tears and  cry that they changed it?

I'm liking it so far.  Though it scared the ever living crap out of me when I was building stacks last night.  Had a +10 on a character, busted out the old +11 grunil chest i was using.  Set it to durable.

First two taps, it's at +13.  >.>

keep going, swapping gear around as I do.  Nothing else successfully enhanced, got the stack I needed.  Sigh of relief.

Also why the hell would there be crying about making green gear easier to enchant? No one wanted failstacking to be harder. This isn't a buff, it's a nerf.  Now you're stuck with reblath&milita only to make failstacks. GL getting a stack over 20+ using that.

I don't know if either you don't understand it or I don't. But having the option to choose to have success be lower is a buff.

 

In related news, has anybody noticed reblath being rude and enhancing to 15 much easier than before?

This new system just highlights how bad my failstacking RNG really is(when trying to get failstacks) Got a green vediant to +15 with 30 stones using durability option. Never got above +11 failstacks :(. Luckily I made all my money back. Perhaps I will keep trying.

Good luck.  Though, i've found that if you blow all your stones on the same item, it will regularly enchant much faster.  Better to break it up among a few different things.

Cant say i like this at all. its real bs or bugged. I have failstacked on bronze daggers for some months and i have probably made atleast 50 daggers to +15. usually they go from 14 to 15 in about 17-23fs now after this function if i select durability (the one with lower chance but keeping dura) they hit 15 at 7-15 have done about 10 since the patch and only 2 tries got to 17+ fs. and one more thing, i always brake down my +15 (yes i know its stupid but i need the blackstones and thats just how i do it) before this i got around between 38-45 blackstones.. on these last ones i dont think iv gone over 28 stones from any of them.. so nah.. dont like this at all:(

They should have added a force to enhance after +15 not that useless button. Don't they get that we don't like that lucky slots system and we want a fair one where your effort and time matters.

Just checked it for u, I can't force my PRI nouver to DUO. With this new system it seems like it will be PRI forever. Just enchanted a krea kriegmesser from 0 to +15 with 30 blackstones. -----in hell, that never happened to me before. I came to the forum to check if MAYBE I got crazy lucky, but nope. I guess it's back to reblath, if that one is still the same as before.

You can force enchant base gear up to TRI... Boss drops cant be forced from 15 above...

even with durable option, made 3 +15 items in a row under 8 fs, i used to be able to do up to 14 on a +11, now even a +14 wont go above 10...

ps the extraction amount also has been dropped.
