Hasrah Dungeon

Okay, I got my DK to 56, and doing the Awakening quest. I already did it with my Maehwa, so I understand the enemies I have to face. I'm just curious if there's some kind of huge bug on my end, because all the places I look to find recommended AP/DP for Hasrah says around 110 AP and 170 DP. I don't understand if I'm just really bad at the game, or if there really is a bug. The monsters hit me only three times, and my health went down to half. I have 183 DP, which is over the recommendation. This isn't the first problem I've had with taking damage. Elrics are supposed to be a breeze for a level 56, and yet for some reason the High Priest chunks my health like I'm not wearing armor at all. Can anyone explain this to me? I feel like I suck at this game if I somehow can't beat enemies that I'm supposed to be melting.

Try not to facetank whole groups or turn the back to them... -.-'' Recomended GS doesnt mean you can go afk in midle of group and return to finish them later... With DKs mobility and iframes, they shouldnt hit you at all...

I understand the concept of not face-tanking when you're not a tank, because I've been playing RPGs since I learned how to play games. That doesn't explain why only three hits takes me down to half health. DP isn't supposed to negate all damage, obviously, but it's supposed to prevent death in under 10 hits...

Thank you for your input, I appreciate how much this helped me out. I hope a lot of people are able to take away from your wisdom as I have.

Koreans can multi-task complicated things that's why, you just need to get and think of using all the buffs/debuffs/food/house buffs/pots/I frames/ positioning and kiting a lot more to be effective at all times...

Ehm no actually not, unless you have very high DP/lots of evasion.

Yes some mobs do higher damage, you just have to figure it who are those mobs....it seems like you already spotted one at elric shrine.

RoakOriginal already told you how to deal with it unless you want to spam healing potions. It's assumed that you'll at least use all the tools available for your class. As for Elric High Priests you just kill them first and you won't have a problem.

As for those recommendations they are not 100% accurate. You won't be killing Valencia Centaurs comfortably with a level 56 character and 175AP/220DP for example.

Hasrah needs to be buffed anyways. It's not worth it in either XP nor silver and the mobs are just super annoying

And it might just be a tiny Tamer thing but it seems like every little terrain change can't be walked over, you need to jump over every little tiny step :x

The recommendations are quite often a minimum, not for an easy life and hasrah was one of the hardest areas of mediah so you will need to use skill in there

The mobs in Mediah and higher were buffed as indicated by one of the recent patches.

I thought the Wilderness Golems was the hardest area in Mediah when it launched?

And "Hasrah" ... we are talking about Ancient Weapon critters in the Egyptian tomb lookin place right??...  Hang on I'm gonna go there with my Wizard real quick, he's only 55 and 170 DP  (all boss armor...not sure if that will skew the results or not...)  but I'll go take another look at them.  But I could of sworn they were Pushovers last time I was there...

Okay, I don't understand what the OP was talking about... I was able to infinitely tank group of these things without even putting on my DP buffs.  IS the OP sure they're in Hasrah, and not some other Dungeon intended for 400gs ppl?

Did you know that "hasrah" in Arabic "حسرة" literally means "regret" ,"grief" or "pity" depending on context? 1.0

i thought too and figured it was fairly accurate considering the lost civilisations more. Lots of Greif and regret etched in those walls.

And the fact that almost nobody I've seen speaks too kindly of that place, which I've always found to be funny. Maybe PA should rename places like sausans and pirate island to "nuisance".

I don't particularly dislike that place, I think It looks cool to explore, it is quite a hasrah that some don't feel the same. 1.0
