Good evening / day to everyone and especially to the publishers of the game.

The new announcement for the CBT2 already featured a list of the itemshop items and I can already see that cash-costumes have stats bonuses. So basically the big question to you, publishers, is, if this will stay at the current amount or is this going to escalate. Like usually seen in free 2 play games. Because +gathering, +droprate, +whateverthehellyouwant will not only mess with the gameplay but with the economy in the long run as well. This usually ends in the game going down like the titanic. First it will split the player-base and then everyone jumps overboard.

So here the questions it will come down to:

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I JUST STATED ABOVE, DEAR PUBLISHER?

WILL YOU KEEP YOUR FINGERS AWAY FROM ALTERING THE GAMEPLAY MECHANICS WITH ITEMSHOP GEAR?

If you can't answer "yes" to the two questions above, this will become abandonware 2016 and I don't want to see a beautiful game go down the drain.

Seems like Koreans just need at least the illusion of p2w or they won't buy shit that's all

 

Q. Pearl Abyss  announced that the cash shop will have only cosmetic items, what happened and the armors and weapons got some stats?

A. Korean users are also very sensitive about cash items that strengthen your character directly. If you play Black Desert, you will notice the stats on current cash items. Jump height, swimming speed, gathering level, fishing level, stamina, hiding character name, experience bonus and etc, you will be able to see what they mean. For example, a sale of cash items, such as accessories and underwear, were not so great when they were sold without any bonus stats. But the sales started to rise after we added stats such as luck +1 or knowledge gain probability. Most of these cash items are designed to give more comfortable game experiences. But we are constantly reviewing these items so they don’t influence battle outcomes.

The rest of the interview was "We're discussing that" and "We made it easier because Westerners can't even find the quest NPC lel"

jesus christ stop making such pointless threads. There is 100 of them and all of them have same answers ' those stats are close to irrelevant' but i guess u arleady saw it but decided to ignore it. And no they wont escalate anywhere. Every costumes is same aside horse/maid and treant armor which give complete irrelevant stats to combat

Dude, it's about making the publisher realize that it's a matter of concern. Do you think they'd care if it was just one thread per week to meet your tmw-p2w-thread quota?

Inb4: Publisher doesn't care either way; Stats are low right now so where's the problem; and all the other cucklord arguments;
