Why have we seen none of our concerns since CBT2 addressed?

Preorders close in 1 day, and Daum hasn't even said anything about the cash shop or other gamebreaking issues in CBT2. Most people are just assuming that Daum won't change anything with the cash shop because they refuse to speak.

All we've gotten is the very generic PR "we're looking into player concerns and take them seriously", just like every publisher ever, including Trion, Nexon, etc...  It doesn't mean anything unless they give specifics.

They aren't refusing to speak. Please show me the thread where they said "We aren't going to tell you"

They are probably busy getting ready for launch which is in 3 days.

Edit: There are already many posts on this topic, use the search feature. The CM's keep having to merge or delete these posts, so really...you're wasting their time they could be writing your response.

I've looked at Cm's post history. All they do is close topics from people complaining. They aren't saying ANYTHING about concerns. This is extremely concerning and it seems like BDO will be p2w.

1) BDO isn't P2W, you obviously know nothing.

2) They are closing people's posts which are complaining because they clutter up the forums. THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM.

The CM's close many other threads which there are too many of, so don't go believing complaints are the only ones.

If you think BDO is P2W (At launch) you obviously haven't played the game at all or done any research.

Ships in the cash shop on day 1, can get unlimited silver from pearls(via mount skill resets and rerolling/reselling horses) in order to get +15 gear on launch day), costumes with bonus stats, ghillie suit.

Ship was either a bug or a test.

You are limited to the amount of breeding resets.

Costumes with stats have minimal affect on you.

Ghillie suit has the same ability as 'crouch'

Do some research.

Ships aren't P2W. You can make your own in a few days. (I do disagree with being able to purchase them however, but it isn't P2W)

You aren't getting unlimited silver from mounts. You can only reroll a mount once with the cash shop reset. After that you can never do it again.

The Ghillie suit is garbage I do agree, but the stats on the other costumes aren't significant enough to matter. You can get costumes with in-game currency with stats as well. (Although with less bonus)

1. You don't rush changes in a couple days in a game like this.

2. You don't go about changing things based on feedback from a bunch of players on the forum who collectively represent a tiny portion of the player base. What you do is collect data from the live game to analyze what players are doing, how long they are playing, what they purchase, and such. Game companies rely on data, facts, and careful analyses, not hearsay from the forums.

And you may want to sit down for this, but it may just so happen that the reality depicted by player analytics just doesn't match the opinions of the angry forum nerds who claim to know what other people want or don't want.

I'd imagine something like this is happening:

Feedback collected > Feedback relayed to higher ups/devs > feedback discussed and action plan laid out > action plan finalised > prepping long wall of text announcement for community > feedback actioned

Unfortunately, in any company, you have to deal with bureaucracy and (quite often) higher-ups that don't actually have any practical experience dealing with their field beyond having a qualification in X. I'd say the reason our cash shop pricing was so shoddy in CBT2 despite Jouska's claim that everyone at Daum is a seasoned gamer is likely to do with a higher up manager who has no clue about the gaming industry and simply has a business management degree (happens extremely often in MMO publishing companies, had to deal with this sort of blockade a lot as a GS with Aeria games).

It's not a bug/test, it's the same on the Korean and Russian versions.

What I mean is... It's P2W for our version, therefore it's either a bug or a test, it shouldn't be included in NA/EU. Doesn't matter if it's in RU/KR.

They don't need to say anything.  The game is what it is.  Don't like it, don't play, and if you pre-order and played beta....HAHAHA

A fool and his money are soon parted

Ship from the cash shop...

Not a bug, working as designed.   The description clearly says it includes the ship and why buy one?  It eventually degrades and becomes useless.  But it is not a bug.

it still amazes me to this day after gaming for 13 years that players still think they are entitled to info..

They will tell us in when the information is ready.. day before patch day or on patch day or whatever the case might be..

I am sure @CM_Jouska is busy as fawk and the other CM's

The boat is in no way P2W.  They cannot be sold, not even the registry licenses.
