srsly i have a feeling that all those stupid posts come from those pewdiepie fools, just watch at the joined date, its crazy

possible.

I think the best part of this all is...

a) 10% off is good in the long run.

b) Certain players will run away from the game due to this, increasing its overall quality and leaving space for true players.

lets just hope so.

You don't understand anything and your replies don't make sense. Stop trolling :-/

uhh... okay.

Have a like. People will never be satisfied.

agreed, they never will be..

Man, that's a brutal knee to the face! +1

People getting mad and saying the 10% price reduction is nothing

but going apeshit over 10% exp bonus!

The forums are making me legally blind with their stupidity!

10% of 50 Million is not the same as 10% of 32

I know math is hard for many, but really folks are this bad at it?

Would explain why they can not understand Trickle Down Economics fails.

A few folks buying what they want, will never equal the majority buying at lower prices.

Math try it sometime.

TRUE players now.

First death threats now the game has a Religious following.

What could go wrong?

It's almost as if there might be two different groups of people saying these things.

Nah, that couldn't be it.

I don't think this is a matter of poor people vs rich people.  And I don't believe that anybody really expects the costumes or items to be free, or even cheap.  It's a matter of feeling like you're getting value for the dollar you spend.  Given that BDOs costumes aren't providing game breaking stats, which I think we can all agree is a good thing, all consumers see with the product being offered at that price point is something that's not just overpriced, but grossly overpriced.  Especially when the consumers compare these costumes to every other game out there, where prices for similar costumes, many of which do provide incredible stats, are half the price.

I'm thankful that they listened to the consumers and reduced the prices.  But given that we're also shelling out $30-$100 to play the game, the prices will need to come down a great deal more, or they'll have to attach further incentives to the costumes, to encourage me to purchase them.

10% of $32 one time <<<< 10% of 5+ million XP in perpetuity.

10% doesn't even cover the tax where I live.

A more suitable solution is to just leave the game if you don't like it. If you go into a store and you see pants for 200 dollars which are too expensive for you, wouldn't you go shop in another store instead if standing in front of their store yelling they should lower it because we already pay taxes (or whatever else excuse you would use)

The makes no sense mate, why should he just leave the game because he dosnt like the cash shop price? If he bought the game he can play as much as he likes..

You can't compare the two. They are two total different cases. Also one might say 10% of millions xp is quite much, but 10% of a low value like €32 is small. You should not only look at the percentage.

Fact: You can get 25% combat exp from cash shop.

10% from Full costume set, 15% from 3%, 5%, 7% combat exp via pet breeding (requires purchase of a crap ton of pets).

The rumored 10% sale does not include pets.

Are YOU seriously comparing Skyrim, a single-player game that you pay once, to BDO, an active MMO with constant updates and servers needed to run for the thousands of players??? Wow.  Not to mention, some of the armor pictures you posted are user-created workshop armor.

the thing is they are not forced to spend even 1 cent in the game and they still have access to ALL content BDO has to offer. Yet they want cashshop but demand lower prices but its optional. if they dont want the prices stay away from the cashshop. if they cant do that, just leave the game

Well, I am here not cause I am going to play Black Desert, just that I saw this reply on mmorpg.com and I couldn't have agree more. I am glad that I'm not going to play Black Desert cause of how money-hunger they are

"32 to $29. 10-#*$&ing-%, really??! They need to get a clue of their market base that they're trying to sell to. League of Legend's premium costumes are $20, and those ones come with special animations per each character....on a Free2Play game! Black Desert Online is going Buy2Play in the western launch just to avoid those crazy cash shops. And yet they're not avoiding the crazy cash shops."

This isn't even a free to play game, and they are expecting us to pay even more on top of it??. I can understand if the costume was cheaper, but 30 fking dollars on top of monthly subscription!!!???

After this post, not coming back here anymore.... Really shitty of a company, liars and money-hungers....

And you know there is definitely a problem, when you see people talking about it in other website other than the forum here. I be laughing so hard if this game closes within 2 years....

that they're trying to sell to. League of Legend's premium costumes are $20, and those ones com

Yup, I'm comparing two titles in the RPG genre and the value each offers for the items being sold.

Free vs $30

who made the armor is irrelevant considering PA could do the same.

I'm not buying the armor to pay for their server overhead. I'm buying armor for the sake of armor. If they are that worried about their overhead, they should lower prices or charge a sub.

I agree with you.  I think they will quickly learn their pricing error when sales stagnate.
