Guild contract + Guild funds

Hi there, I've been trying to find this information online but I'm not really understanding. I want to give contracts to my guild members, they are real life friends who are loyal and will continue to play with me so I want to give them 30day contracts. But if my guild only has 80k funds at the start, and it doesn't let me deposit money, how are we going to make enough money to pay any more than 2 people?

One more thing, I upgraded my guild yesterday and overnight our guild made like 2k silver, but how? From what? Just want to know so I can start to control how much we are making so we can afford to contract more people.

Thanks

you make money for the guild from guild quests

contracted members of the guild aren't required to take the money.

if the guild runs out of money, you as the guild leader can personally put money into it.

Example: my guild does a guild quest for 10,000- 30,000 silver[gather 800 logs], we all gather logs and once we hit 800 we turn in the quest through the guild tab and we get 500,000 silver in the guild coffers, we can do that 5 times a day for 2,500,000 silver.

Do not do combat quests early because those are designed for lvl 50s

If you dont take a quest another guild can take it it so dont be indecisive for the good ones either.

Please note that to participate in a guild quest the guild member must have a contract.  If they dont have a contract it wont count towards the guild quest.  This includes you as the guild leader.

Building over Echo's comment, the 2k you made overnight is based on other actions your guild does. While it is difficult to figure out the exact numbers involved, I can say for certain that non-guil quest completion also does affect your Guild Funds and members guild activity, even if it is in the smallest of ways!

Hope this helps! :)

One more question, I already knew that we could take guild quests and complete them for huge sums of silver (we havent done this yet), but this doesn't explain how we made tiny bits of silver just from playing. What is it that is making money for the guild or is it just passive from something? Members doing their own quests, or killing mobs, or using energy? I'd like to know for sure what is generating the silver.

Also "Guild Activity" is going up for members but we aren't doing anything as a guild so what makes that go up? The tooltip says guild quests and conquests, both of which we obviously haven't done so how does a member have 900 activity?

Thanks @Klaess

If you are talking about contribution, anytime someone levels themselves or one of their skills they gain contribution which gives exp to the guild.

The fastest way to do this is to get all the easy beginner levels across multiple characters.

as for the random silver, its just that, like klaess said you get it for having guild member mucking around doing quests and whatnot, playing the game ect.
