(NOTICE) Still no refunds, must request again

Just a heads up for anyone hoping to get a refund, just received another automated email saying you have to re-request a refund if you still want one. They are basically ignoring all the previous request for refund, which seems illegal. They obviously are pushing back refunds after release to force people to either login or be locked out of the game.

We apologize for the delayed response to your ticket. We are working hard to address refunds, as well as clear up the confusion regarding Explorer and Traveler’s Pack purchases. This response is a mass reply. If it does not relate to your issue, please respond to your ticket.

Compensation is being arranged for all users who have experienced issues related to lack of game access, due to purchasing their copy of Black Desert Online after February 26th, at 8:00 UTC. To read more about this gesture, please visit the following URL:

...how does this force you to log in? and if you get a refund of course you'll be locked out. its buy 2 play and you are un-buying it, or did i miss something?

I'm sure anyone else that wanted/wants a refund is most likely receiving the same email response you got...they didn't make it especially for you. The game will be accessible by everyone in a matter of hours. Stick around and play, or wait for your refund outside. This topic has been beaten to death, sent to hell, resurrected with black magic, had five  demon offspring children, who were then vanquished by the charmed ones and the power of three, became lost souls and now wander the forums whispering echos of pain and heartache...Just let it die.

He's basically been spamming for the forum about this for several days now.

Because they wont give the refund until after the launch date. Which is of course by design.

Here I will break it down for you, you seem to need help understanding

1. I paid $50 believing I would get early access

2. I did not get early access and immediately requested a refund

3. DauM ignores my request for refund for a day and a half, now sends email saying I need to re-request the refund

4. Game goes live, if I log in they keep the $50 and I can't get a refund. I have no option at this point to purchase the standalone game, my only choice is give them the $50 or have no access to the game. 

5. DauM laughs because they get to hold my money hostage

I haven't received any non automated responses but this is the first response since the initial automated response.

I want to play, but I don't want to pay $50 for a $30 game. I have no option to play at the $30 level, I am having my refund held hostage to force me to let them keep the $50 if i want any access.

Your refund is by no means being "held hostage" as I am sure you can understand there is a queue for tickets, your ticket will be handled as soon as possible.  I am going to ho ahead and close this thread now as there is no resolution to be had via the forums.
