New Class - Brawler

Due to the fast paced nature of this game, I think a brawler would be a perfect fit for this game. 

It's primary conceit would be chaining combo's with lightning fast punches and kicks, and great finishers.

It could also have more of a monk leaning, where "chi" could be channeled through their attacks. I.e. think DBZ.

I understand that we get classes from the korean version of the game, so it's unlikely this will be implemented, but a man can dream.:P

Basically a male sorc. The Female sorc is already a brawler with ki type attacks (even has a psuedo spirit bomb and Kamahameha)

Also adding a whole new class is something you would need to bring up to the original korean company.  While Daum can do things like balancing, lighting (darker nights like they are doing and making lanterns a thing) a whole class and balancing of a new class is something on a completely different level that I do not think they would be able to do.

Sorcerer is actually a melee/low range class. Something you described sounds like Street Fighter or Tekken.

My only concern is "chaining combo's with lightning fast punches and kicks, and great finishers". So basically, if a 'Brawler' gets close to his enemy, he'll stunlock it to death.

Well the goal is not to have infinite combo's, and the longer they go without using a "finisher," they'll be more open to a counter attack. But I'm no game designer, so I have no idea how this would be balanced.

I'd assume that if the Western developers saw an idea and liked it enough to want it, they'd pass it on to the Korean devs as a suggestion.

The idea of a fist and feet ki brawler/monk like dbz mentioned before would is awesome in my opinion. And having it be the male counterpart to the sorcerer would be perfect. Seeing as the kunoichi/ninja are similar in concept and use the same weapon but use difffrent attacks and skill trees. The ddifference between this new class and scorc would be similar in concept the the ninja/kunoichi. 

I like it anI want it. And a monk staff with rings would be perfect for awakened lol i

I enjoy close quarter combat, as well as martial arts. Having a class that specialized in those ways of fighting alone would be pretty sweet. Give them some knuckle busters or something.

I play a monk is any game that lets me, from Vanguard, to NWN, to Diablo 3, ect ect.

Monks are vital to my RPG experience when it is offered.

This games combat and animation system is ideal for a monk.
