What skill should be awakened?

Recently hit level 48 and wondered which skill does benefit from awakening it and which awakening should I aim for (in case I re-roll awakenings later on)?

It's prettttttty random what you get, but I'm always a fan of hitting up Chain Lightning and Lightning.  Chain Lightning I like to aim for the 4 MP/WP restore on hit for obvious reasons.  For Lightning I like to aim for the Critical chance because then it sets up Residual Lightning to Crit more but that already has 75% crit so it's kinda unnecessary as well.  I also awoke Magic Arrow and got a 10% snare on it.

No problem.

I'm mostly waiting for the full English translated list of what can go on each skill before I make any decisions, but I remember reading that Instant MP on Lightning Chain (not to be confused with MP/5 regen) was the best all around starting choice since it'll largely cover the costs of Lightning Chain if it hits all the targets (and it does for me as each channel costs 20mp and if I hit 3 targets 4 times that's 48 mana back).

I would also imagine +Crit on Fireball would be another excellent choice as it'd setup a higher crit chance for Fireball Explosion as it lacks the natural critical hit chance of Residual Lightning.

you don't need RL cash to re-roll, you need some item i think it's called sage dream or something like that, you get some of them via some boss scroll summon, you get that scroll getting 5 relic crystal shard (idk the right name) and making a cross symbol with them on your inventory (as one in the middle and the other 4 on each side), i got 3 of them yesterday so 3 rerolls

The "Awakening Skill Reset" is actually if you want to choose a different skill.  At 48+ you can awakening one skill per level.  So by 50 you should have 3.  Lets say you choose Lightning Chain, Residual Lightning and Fireball.  But then halfway through you realize you don't really want Residual Lightning awakened and you'd rather have Magic Arrow.  You then have to pay for the 300 pearl ($3 US) item to reset Residual Lightning and then choose Magic Arrow.  You could also just gain another level, but post 50 levels come very slow to just wait it out.

Now if you want to change the random roll on whatever skills you chose, then that takes the item "Memory Fragment" which drops off the summoned bosses, specifically the Relic Shard bosses.  This is under "Re-Awakening" part of the system to reroll the effects.  Effects are entirely random and you can go back and forth.  So for example in KR I wanted instantly restore 4 MP on Chain Lightning, but after like 20-30 rerolls with Memory Fragments (and wiping out my bank account) I couldn't get the one I wanted.

Where the two systems collide is upon resetting a skill using the cash shop item to choose a different skill, you could of course choose the exact same skill which would reroll the awakening skill on it.  So thus you can use money, if desired, to reroll the effect each time but you're still not guaranteed which one you want.

Ideally, you want +4/5 magic atk on things like blizzard because basically every one of your skills already applies a huge slow if it lands, though to be honest, chain +4 mana/hit is the most important one (just makes life easier, allowing you to chain spam mobs down). But to be frank, it doesn't matter, just a QoL thing.

What's the point in MP recover in chain lightning? Can't we Mana Drain a mob and get a full bar, even if the mob is at 10% HP?

If you chain nukes off a lot you can actually use mana before Absorb Mana is back up, but for the most part you rarely run into this.

Well for me, I get all 2% Exp for all awakens. O.o. I prefer critical damage.

You know there's this thing called hitpoints that are pretty important.

Chain lightning increase cast speed +10%
The secondary for chain lightning increase ap by 4 or 5 or something like that
Lightning slows enemy attack speed by 10%
Residual lightning increase cast speed by 10%

This allows me to then cycle heals and shields between damage bursts while pvping.  Problem with pvp right now is my ap/dp is too low and my build is unfinished, so it won't shine for a few weeks.
