A Height meter/measurement in Character Creation

Hello, I have played a fair decent bit of BD:JP and have seen the others as well.

A small, but probably easy fixable problem I have with creating new characters, is that you cannot tell how tall they are
in comparison to,say,an average person of the world. There is no height meter. This means that you have to 'guess-and-check'
when you create your character, and if its wrong, you get to wait 24-hours as your character deletes itself.

Perhaps a simple height meter on the side, when in the menu for adjusting body proportions?

I absolutely want this.

It's a small thing. But it's a very annoying thing, not knowing how tall the character is. I'm one of those people that spends an hour in the editor. I don't enjoy deleting, then remaking the character, until I've got it right...

This would be helpful. Its hard to judge the characters scale during creation.

Have a side by side silhouette of an average height person, and a giant. That way you'll know if your character will be short, or a towering behemoth.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Without going to either extreme, there is no real way of knowing if your character is actually short or tall...or just some average bloke. I'm that person that actually likes to sit and think about this sort of thing and will calculate heights if I ever get a solid point of reference.

yes! no sense of scale otherwise to work out how tall you are!

not only height but also for all slides.

im sick of just "guessing" where the exact middle is, while modifing certain parameters of the face.

0 <- 50 -> 100

Definitely. Blade and Soul has this spot on, you can compare your character's height with any other race (basically a silhouette appears beside your character so that you can see how tall / short your character is in comparison).

Maybe a Shai, human, and a giant npc silhouette in char creation would help. But yes, definitely would love this feature.

I agree. I thought changing leg length altered the height though?

Yus, some sort of visual reference to measure height would be great and easy to implement!

Just wanted to give this a little bump since the CM's said they were going to look at more suggestions and I'd like this to get some more attention.

It also feels like this would be more of a UI change than any heavy coding.

..and we really need it.

This really frustrated me after my archer ended up way taller than I had thought in the character creator.

Yeah, elves just seem to be naturally taller so it can skew things a bit.
