Patch Notes – March 3rd

 

Head start has ended and the game is now launched, below you will find a list of the recent changes.  If you  missed the patch notes from CBT-2 you can find them >here<

 

Game System

  •  Localization

    • Updated the Exit Menu change channel button to display “Channel” instead of “Server”.

    • Updated the "Release" button for horses to "Delete" to avoid confusion

    • Fixed the issue were February 29th was not being displayed in the “My Journal” or “Guild Journal” windows.

    • Fixed the issue where the message "Press 'I' to drink a potion" in the tutorial was placed outside the box.

    • Fixed misplaced trade related texts.

  • Classes

    • Fixed the issue where Witch's forehead and cheekbones were protruding helmets due to the size differences in the NA version.

    • Locations of helmets, glasses, and piercings on Witch's and Wizard's faces were modified according to their updated face shapes.

    • Tamer's overall balance was adjusted.

    • Fixed the issue where dye slots for Tamer and Witch were missing.

    • Fixed the issue where some Warrior Skills did not function properly.


Gameplay

  •  Quests

    • Fixed the issue where the alert sound was played every time an item count goes up in a guild quest.

    • Changed the condition for activating the combo tutorial quest for all classes.

    • Changed the conditions for activating the potion drinking tutorial quest.

    • Added additional guidance for Balenos Quests to smooth progression.

  • Items

    • Fragment of Memory acquisition adjusted.

  • NPCs

    • Monster AI has been adjusted for more vigilance.


Known Issues

  • If you log out with the Combo Tutorial Quest active you will have to abandon it and take it again from the Black Spirit.

  • Remaining Text-Cuts; those are being addressed over time and will be fixed

Love the Tamer changes so far thx and good to hear something was done with the Monster AI they where way to passive in cbt.

how about all deleted stuff you did at the maintance as tier5 horses pets and gear etc etc? The maintance did only worse then fix stuff. All you care about was to get cash shop out so people start buying pearls.....

"Tamer's overall balance was adjusted." Ok nice... how was it adjusted, what skills were affected..?
"Fragment of Memory obtainable place/drop rate adjusted." Yea... Where does it drop now.. did you increase the rate or decrease it?

Don't leave us in the dark like this when you update the game..

Give us better detail please, just stating that tamer balance has been adjusted is no where near enough info. We need specifics. As @TimeDawn stated, ESO's patch notes are a perfect example of a great level of detail.

 

Only reason to not give details on patch contents is where exploits are concerned

I bought 3 pets and already had one, just to find out there's no pet breeding. Should I send a ticket to get my pearls back or will it be implemented @CM_Jouska

Have been checking everyday for those patchnotes just to see that half of the changes that have been made have not even been covered here...
more detailed information would be appreciated

esspecially about cash shop changes, pet breeding and experience gain changes

What reason exactly is there to withhold so much information from the BDO patchnotes? They tell us nothing. Why can other companies be so comprehensive, but Daum can't? And if there is a reason, tell us! However i can't imagine there being any excuse whatsoever for such paltry LAUNCH patchnotes.

Transparency is of paramount importance. Patch notes are one of THE most important things to get right. Your customers need to be informed properly of what's going on, what's changed and what they can expect, especially when it concerns the launch notes. More information is ALWAYS better than less. And yes, this also includes a detailed list of cash shop removals or additions for example.

The worst thing is that, if the communication to the customers is always going to be as sketchy and uninformative as this, you will be creating loads and loads of completely unnecessary work for your support staff on top of inconveniencing your customers. Working in support myself i find this completely inexcusable. It doesn't matter what the pencil pushers upstairs might say, but customers need to be informed. If someone is telling you to withhold information, kick them in the balls and throw them out the window.

This is a heavy PvP game, it's all there is to do at higher levels. If we can't read skill patch notes no PvPer can take this game serious. And there is no way we will look in-game and be like oh hey that skill used to be 103 and now its 104%...
