Some of the bugs/issues:

1, Failed Black spirit bossfight quests stucked to the  quest lists: boss unsummoned, but quests is active. Removing options remove from in game quest list only. Black spirit and map mark the quest.

2. "Talk to NPC-A, than NPC-B" is stucked: I can't finish the quest. I speak with 1st NPC, but 2nd part of the quest didn't activate.

3. Kill monster quest bug: You can't finish kill quest. Quest monsters marked, but your kills don't generate changes in counter and in the quest. Typica "kill monster-A, MonsterB, Monster-c"  quest.

4. Accuracy doesn't display in Profile. + no real Help topic to write the basic elements of the game (AP, DP, Accuracy)

4.a. Do we have hidden element of Accuracy in the game? When we hit  the enemy and we have low accuracy target will get 0 (?) damage  many time. Does it right or urban legend?

Not here to ----- about it and i am really enjoying the game so far but please make the patch notes more detailed, would really like to know what changed with the tamer (I noticed i can't use the weapon stow/attack dash anymore) but is that it? and was it a bug? or did other skills get changed?

really hope these patch notes can get updated to be more detailed.

I would also like to know more about the tamer balancing. I logged in yesterday to see skills on my hot bar completely missing. I thought It was an issue that I created so I put the skills back on my hot bar to find one skill I use in particular completely missing. Thought I was losing my mind, then came to read this and now it makes more sense. Sadly there isn't much info about how we were balanced...just that it was balanced.  Please give us more info.

Holy shit. Being intentionally vague about bug fixes is one thing but completely changing a class and not giving any details? Are you kidding?

Greetings, regarding the patch of 03/06/2016? Suddenly today I not only cannot patch but you prevent me from accessing the game entirely .. you say get hold of you AFTER reinstalling?? or installing? Well what is going on ? Are we all being asked to redownload the entire game?

Puzzled.  Please help.

Sigh, this game has so much potential...Just this one thread makes me regret buying the game ( No idea if this is possible, but i am thinking about it...).

So many issues to be addressed just into this one topic.. The treatment their customers are receiving is just crap...

Only one crappy response from the CMs & PMs in this full thread, and not even one apology, or anything....

Even if the KR patch notes were crappy and they were not able to understand them...They could have said something atleast about the modifications to the PET system (That the will temporarily take it out etc)

As great as the game can be...if communication will be done like this I do not see a bright future at all...There's also a lot of issues that are not addressed at all. I thought that the development team that I work with at my company is bad...I changed my opinion of them now lol...

      Tamer's overall balance was adjusted.

I'm sure other people mentioned this already, but I also want to add my voice regarding this point.

This is a good example of how NOT to write a class related change.

You have to be more detailed, and specify which skills were changed and how they were changed and, if there were any changes in damage, by how much.

Every other MMO I can think of is just much more detailed when presenting changes of this nature. Have a look at Tera, ESO or GW2 PvP/Class related patch notes, and that's just to mention a few. DAUM KR does a very good job as well in its Black Desert KR patch notes, detailing every small change.

I do not want to see anything so generic and non-explanatory again. Especially when it concerns PvP and Class Changes.

It is something that must be taken seriously and reported with every detail.

Even if the launch took a lot from all of us the patch note wasn't posted with any kind of lazyness from our side. We communicated about what we had and we'll do our best to have better and more detailed information in the future, but for this one that's what we got.

@CM_Tytyes I understand, but even if you only have generic information available regarding a class change, please do your best collecting more detailed information in the future to provide the players with everything they need to know.

I agree with the rest - playing a tamer I certainly want to know what changes were implemented. Also, I'm not sure what work you did on the avatar graphics, but after the patch the colour of my avatar's hair was reset to brown from her red colour before.

Also, coming from a software background, seeing these type of notes has me flabbergasted. I am assuming DAUM has a testing team that goes over all the changes in a test environment. In order to TEST something you actually need to know what you're testing. If you know what you're testing you HAVE patch notes already.

CM's please push back at the delivery managers if you do not receive the documentation to share with the community. We can be a vicious bunch >.>

That said BDO is a beautiful, rich game that we all home to enjoy for a long time to come and all this feedback is because we care and want to contribute to it's success.

Sorry to say, but these patchnotes are really bad, one of the worst I've ever seen.

There is no details in it at all for example:
"Tamer's overall balance was adjusted." Ok nice... how was it adjusted, what skills were affected..?
"Fragment of Memory obtainable place/drop rate adjusted." Yea... Where does it drop now.. did you increase the rate or decrease it?

Don't leave us in the dark like this when you update the game..

i agree with this statement.  the patch notes provided are very minimum.  please provide and detailed patches notes on all thing fixed, dont leave things out and furthermore it would be great to see an updated copy of the patch notes from march 3rd as a show of good faith.  very good launch so far, but customer/player support needs to be one of your strongest assets to secure a good future.  dont follow en masse entertainments example here...

Sorry if I missed this information somewhere, but are these March 3rd patch notes a rolling changelog that is incoming or were they already implemented back on March 3rd? Reason I ask is that my stable menu still says Release instead of Delete so I don't see how my game was updated if it doesn't reflect changes mentioned here.

Also, I completely agree with others that the patch notes are quite vague.  I would think by this point there would be a response from an admin to the community that would fix this.  Archeage had horrible community management for so long and it took a massive toll on the community. Please don't let that happen to this one by treating the community like children.  Tell us what you're changing in more detail please.

Why are these patch notes so vague? It shouldn't be a guessing game for players to figure out what you've done. Clarify it. That should be the balance teams job.

back in 1973 when "adventure in a big cave" started up on the computer at university of Tempe in Arizona it was worse than this.

  • Fixed the issue where the alert sound was played every time an item count goes up in a guild quest.

Broken for new characters now?

I created a new character this morning after the patch (Ranger), and I get the ALERT SOUND every time a guild quest count goes up, or any time I mouse over a quest, or any time I do almost anything.  Very annoying, can't play the character, but all my others work normally still.
