max durability Repairing Steel Taritas max durability with Taritas?

36 posts in this topic

Hey guys,

I've heard that you can repair the max durability of Steel Taritas with normal Taritas armors? Is that true?

Also, is steel taritas worth it? It's just much lighter than taritas. (I guess the answer of this question depends on the first question).

Thanks a bunch!

I believe the tooltip reads that Steel Taritas can be used to repair normal Taritas, but it does not say you can use Regular to repair Steel.

Ah ok. thanks for clearing that up. damn then it really isn't worth it to go Steel :\ I prepped so long to craft it too!

No wonder it's pretty cheap on the AH also.

Get your gear to +15 that's when you upgrade it so max durability isn't an issue.

Can you actually upgrade taritas to steel taritas?

Nope Taritas is dropped, can be bought from the Blacksmith in Heidel or gotten from quests while Steel Taritas can only be crafted it's quiet expensive to craft and not worth it just for the weight reduction (which is the only difference) since it's so expensive to repair, just go for normal Taritas.

Honestly crafted Gear is very underwhelming atm it's expensive and totally pointless.

You can't upgrade taritas to steel taritas bruh.

And yeah @Asmodeus i crafted the set since I've prepped for the items for days. not worth.

That's not the way it works on neither KR, JP nor RU. Why would you change the way things work just because the translators couldn't do their job properly?

Taritas is used to repair Steel Taritas. It shouldn't work the opposite way and I hope you change it back quickly because all I see is a third-party making misinformed changes to a product they've been put in charge off.

@CM_Jouska Well ----- that. Dumped shit tons of stones in a Steel Taritas set now and got toally screwed. Why the hell would you change it from the Korean version? The item has no point in the game then. Repair costs are like 7-10 times higher.

Even worse, the Steel Taritas doesn't even apply the set bonus.

Nothing to do with an idiot trap, this is bad design.

People shouldnt be needed to worry about this, this should be a lot more transparant to players.

I had made a topic post about this issue, there was aswell a reddit post concerning this. And both goth ignored by the game overseers asking players to fall into the none-existent support loop great DAUM has to offer.

In a few words.

Don't waste your money on taritas. On our current NA/EU version the max durability repairing for this item is bugged. I spent 3m silver for pure testing purposes on this matter messing around with Blue taritas, steel taritas and normal taritas and trying to recover the max durability of each  as the description says.

It is bugged. Save yourself invesments and time.

I found this out too when I bought a steel Taritas. It's my fault for being slow not able to buy normal taritas off market since it's grabbed the moment it's put onto the market. Now I'm stuck with a +9 steel taritas and probably going back to agerian because of the supply in the market.

Noted, that tooltip needs to be more clear.  Thank you.

Does that make sense to you that we should use a 200k worth piece of armor to repair a 20k worth ones? Srsly?

You are so worng, actually Thje Steel taritas says it can be used to repair normal taritas, and the normal Taritas says it can be used to repair Steel taritas... so its not confusing and its perfectly clear... it is just bugged and needs to be fixed...

jesus, what a community manager ...
