Base tamer build

Here is a small base build I made for tamer. This build is a base for both pve and pvp, but is more focused on pvp.
I kept the points spend under 500 soft cap.

As for awakened skills, I'd pick skills you use the most so the buff/debuff is always up.
Personally I'd go for: 
- Whiplash (skill damage or skill speed increase)
- Trample (critical chance increase - use before you use whiplash to make it hit harder)
- Evasive attack (movement speed debuff - can be spammed a lot so being able to slow your opponent in pvp will help a lot)


After you got this build you can aim for a build like this:

Jolt and Bolt wave are both very amazing skills in pve, they take up a huge amount of points however so its better to focus on a build that works everywhere instead of a build that only works in pve, which is why I didn't pick this skill for the base build.

The same counts for Absorb Heilang, though its amazing at both pvp and pve, it just takes too many points to be picked over the other skills untill you reach a high amount of skill points.

I don't think flash or pole thrust are worth it at all, at medium ranks jolt/bolt do more dmg and stun monsters and pretty much combo w/ everything~

You're right that it does do more damage for pve, I just personally like flash + pole to get mobs to group up faster as pole hits quite far.
Tamer uses a lot of different skills for both pve and pvp (with an exception to some), so she requires a lot of skill points to be truly efficient at both, which is why I wont include those 2 skills in the base build.

However you're right that flash isn't really worth it I'll remove it on the base build as this was pretty much based on my own personal build.

It costs too much points for what it does. Taking other skills over it will increase your dps/utility more.

Why no Fearful Trembling it was buffed massively? and it seems to have a aoe heal that isn't in the tooltip on top of the aoe stun seems like a nobrainer to me.

Fearful is great for grinding and so is roaring, I personally prefer Roaring over Fearful as for pvp neither of these skills maxed are really that great, and with the many points you have to spend on tamer I'd say pick one or the other.

Roaring I like because besides dealing more dps than fearful, at max rank it groups up all mobs and then knocks them down . If they didn't die by that skill you can use whiplash as it will now give down attacks.

Roaring
Damage= 626.56%x8
Explosion 1250%x2
skill takes about 4 seconds = 1878% dps

Fearfull

1st Attack Damage=855%
Damage over time= 95%
in the same time as roaring you can get about 16 ticks + first hit = 593% dps

The differance in dps is a really huge cap, but Fearfull does heal so that is the only reason I see to even consider leveling this skill to max over roaring.
If you prefer having more sustain over damage while grinding feel free to pick fearfull instead of roaring.

Also, level 1 fearfull is enough to appy the stun.

You want to max fearful for pvp though, at least when u get to high lvl. Would either not skill roaring at all or skill it 3 times or something like that to not waste too many points on it as it's useless for pvp

From the skill, Fearfull is a 2 sec aoe stun in PvP.

There is not much CC left from what it seems, so I think having this stun allowed in PvP makes the skill a must have.

 

I might be wrong, havn't done any high lvl PvP yet.

I remember seeing flash stunning in Korea very recently, but I haven't noticed it yet on EU, maybe u need to max it for it to work, but it looks interesting
