____________________________________

So with all the contraversy over the ghillie suit, I'll mention now I have one yet i don't like it.
I figured I'd go try learn how to make a flare.
For your info this is how you do it http://bddatabase.net/us/design/8064/ .
EDIT: The flare is an item that will light up the area around you and show peoples names who are hidden, such as crouched people or people with ghillie suits.

All that says is workshop lvl 3.
It does not say which workshop however it does give you the handy location of each house you will find said workshop.

Go in game yourself each workshop in each of those houses does not provide any schematic to build flares at level 3.

None of them.

Infact some houses listed only have a max of lvl 2 workshops meaning that the tier 3 workshop that should be there is not in our game.
I have heard some one got a flare from a quest or what not but mass production of these items is as of now.

Impossible.

That is very lame considering it is a cash-shop only item, I say that as a person who spends money on the cash shop, I am against any form of monetary advantage and that is exactly what the ghillie suit is.
People have argued the pros of a ghillie suit vs one without such as;

No name means its harder to notice people- personally I have good situational awareness so I usually see them coming. However I understand.
Can't see health bar, you won't know when to time your CC or burst to kill the ghillie wearer.
You can not see a players guild name so you won't know if it is a war target.
During a large battle you will not be able to focus targets due to not being able to target call.
It provides negative karma people a way to hide the colour of their name which is a MASSIVE advantage over players who want to go negative karma without the ghillie suit.

People in counter to this usually say; for example the player will still glow red if they attack you.
For RP reasons people say its better not to show the name, however thats -----ing stupid as everyone else still has theirs.
Ghillie suit still shows up on the Radar. True though radar does not help you aim your attack skills on a teleporting ghillie wearer.

I won't say pay 2 win since for me that is when you can buy items or gold etc to increase your gear level over some one or auto aim etc.
However it is definetly pay 2 have advantage in pvp.
Without a doubt.

I know others will come here and try to protect their ghillie suit but seriously folks, this sort of thing hurts the game.
You may enjoy your advantage for now but in the coming months people could end up quiting due to this when they might have otherwise enjoyed the game, some people just hate the idea of anything you can buy for any sort of advantage.

I'd suggest that the ghillie is changed to a normal costume with no advantage compared to the others.
It still provides the best camoflage in certain environments while using the IN GAME stealth system. So it still has a use.
Refund pearls to be spent on other items in the cash-shop if people desire.

EDIT:
REGARDING QUEST WHICH CAN GIVE FLARES.

http://bddatabase.net/us/quest/3530/215/

This quest give you a Mysterious Treasure Chest ; http://bddatabase.net/us/item/41573/

This has the chance of giving you some flares as well as many other RNG items.
I am sure other quests also give this box but the chance of getting the item you want is low.

EDIT:
Another quest guaranteed to give you flares has been found, one of many I hope!

It has a counter, dog... its a pay to win item with a pay to win counter. But the devs and fans swear its all "pay for convenience", i guess its considered a convenience to not get blindsided by people with ghillie suits.

Dog aint going to help you in a guild fight mate....
Or an actual fight as its harder to keep track of even one ghillie user.
Or see his name.

Or understand if hes a pker or a guild war target.

I'm fine with them getting rid of the ghillie suit. I was all for it before I started playing the game, having seen the ghillie suit used in videos as a way of sneaking through brush as camouflage, but all I've really seen it being used for is level 50+ ganking lower leveled players and not caring about Karma or backlash. I'm willing to give up my ghillie suit (I only purchased to deal with other ghillie suit users) for a refund in the cash shop if they decide to get rid of this suit altogether.

People have spent money on it so they can RP as cowards, just like real life. Daum wont change it now that they've made money.

If they refund pearls to people who don't want the ghillie suit as a cosmetic only they do not lose money as pearls are in game currency and are spent on other in game things.
Such as a different costume as they are the same price.

As you said, situational awareness seems to be the biggest key here. I'm all for it being in game, yes I have one, no I haven't used it yet (no bonus to xp), yes I have had people try and sneak up on me, no they did not succeed.

Just more QQ in an ocean of tears.

You seem to have avoided all the other problems the suit causes.
Can't see health bar, you won't know when to time your CC or burst to kill the ghillie wearer.

It's been said before but the problem isn't really the ghillie suit but rather it's people with poor awareness around them. In most mmo's there is always a stealth class or some form of stealth mechanics  (protip: this game is getting one too) that you have to be careful around and start training yourself to notice. Removing the effects of the ghillie suit will not remove the fact that someone can run up to you and then decide to flag, nor will it remove the fact that, that person did it with full intentions of killing you and taking the karma hit nor will it remove the fact that if they can get out of your sight, they can go prone and watch you run in circles trying to find them. did it also mention that you can dye your armor green for the same effect as going prone?

They should ----- that suit right off, get rid of it and refund the players that bought it. People that think the suit is fine haven't touched PvP yet.

Thing is, why should a player HAVE to have decent situational awareness to succeed just because some people bought an advantageous item off a cash shop?

Im not sure just did it today ill take a look next time im there, but, its only 3 flares I got from the quest nothing special.

Im going to check it out right now too.

The problem isn't people sneaking up on each other. That's literally what the suit is there for and no one seems to be against the concept of the suit. The problem is when the suit imposes itself on ANY type of engage because it makes it that less likely to be targeted when you don't have a plate. And it has literally no downside to it.

People don't purchase one thing and then just accept being given something else. It will not happen.

Don't speak for people. I purchased the ghillie suit and I'm happy to give it up for a refund if it means it going away altogether.

Then it is punishment for people buying an item purely for advantageous purposes, it is said in the TOS that any part of the game can be edited at any time and that we actually do not own anything in the game legally.

I say this is a player who has a ghillie suit AND a normal costume that i bought extra AND a conquers costume I do not use.
The extra pearls are worthless to me.

So remove the advantage it gives and make it a normal costume, everybody will be happy right ?

Nobody paid to get an advantage over everyone else, they all bought the suit so they can look like Princess Mononoke, didn't they ?

The answer to that is usually 'time will show the flaws of having the ghillie suit on'. it might manifest as people auto attacking those who come close to them,or it may become a thing to always grind in groups so no one gets ganked by people who wear them.

I'm shocked.
