HP per Level seems to be random!

I think I have found it! This is the engine behind the hidden stats. You actually think when you level up it is done in the server...nope...There is an army of people that use these:

wow....this is duam.

200hp the difference between hitting the pot button or hitting the return to nearest node, at least give those of us with shit luck the ability to somehow work out that extra health.

guys you need to chill. allready tested this with a m8. We both leveled Rangers upto 40 the hp difference between us was very minor, max difference of 6 points of hp at 40. but the one stat dad had a great increase for me was mp compared to my m8, I had 40 mp more at lvl 40. 

max hp bonus per level 1-5

max mp bonus per level 1-20

you might sometimes get 5hp extra a few times but after a few levels it will then only give you 1hp more to even it out again. so it evens out in the end that everybody will have close to equal bonus hp gained from leveling. only mp has a greater difference it seems.

so chill, this is not gamebreaking in any way.

Omg. The whine and moan Western people put up.. Is.. Insane.  This is COMMON in RPG games.

This is not Game Breaking.
- The PK'er that 1 shots you will still 1 shot you - regardless of less or more hp.
- The mob that 3 shots you will still 3 shot you - regardless of less or more hp
- Everyone STILL has to spam pots just as much as before.
- No one gives a shit about your moan (this felt very necessary)
- And this will not be changed for Western audience - just leave the game and never look back - we won't miss you.

This is true - although in a competitive fight you can be at a disadvantage simply because of bad rolls leveling up - that is the dumbest design choice yet for this game (there are many...)

I did this with a guildee. We stripped everything off. At 55 we have a 217 HP difference. This is huge.

So no idea how you got 6 hp of diffeence at 40, when even having 2 level 10 charaters will have more than that.

We need more research in this. Very easy to test. Just get a guildee of the same class to help. Just make sure you have the same Health stat as well.

Agreed.  And it's not even close to common in the MMORPG genre.  Sure, many single-player RPGs had them, but there's a world of difference between a single-player RPG and a MMO: one requires you to use that character continuously for long periods of time and pits you against other players, while the other one ends when you complete the game.

Granted, it's not like PvP is balanced either way, but this system is nothing less than silly in that it adds nothing to the game and only makes things worse.

All values should be actually. We know HP and MP are RNG, what else dont we know?

If this game keeps advertising skill based combat, it needs to make all players have an even chance by normalizing stats.

Hi there, sorry for dont read all, but is any official word about this?

I know they have said that the randomess is intended, im asking if they are ok with that or have plan to change it (soon or later), like the gap between +15 and +20 that have said that will be lowered in this version.

I've been leveling a tamer and noticed something.

!Can not confirm, might have been reeeeally bad luck

So my tamer is 42 now and I started leveling her after the last patch. I am really bothered by this hp difference too so I paied close attention to this.

What I noticed was, that the screen popup (hp increased by X) was never higher than 3, I was always in the range of 1-3.

BUT I always got 12-15 more HP per level. So it could be that they reduced the range of the random roll and added a fixed hp increase per level (hidden).

I clearly remember getting 12+ popups with my wizard a month ago.

I can not confirm this by looking at my tamer, maybe i had ultra bad luck (might be with me). But if any of you level an alt you should check it out. Would be interested in an answer to this too.

This means classes with an already low resource pool like Warrior / Valkyrie / Musa / Maehwa could potentially have problems with activating skills or potting due to such gimped stats.

Lets be honest here the buffs in game are all static, please apply said principle to the characters too. Why such secretive handicaps? Its pure bullshit!

Well Rangers have more HP than a Tamer anyway, but that is a huge gap with an 11 level difference. So you got good Ranger rolls, stick with her.

I got a warrior lvl 50:

1064 hp / 254 wp

Breath lvl 28

Strenght lvl 2

Health lvl 2

 

Sorc lvl 55:

1097 hp / 835 mp

Breath lvl 30

Strenght lvl 16

Health lvl 10

 

Ranger lvl 50:

901 hp / 547 mp

Breath lvl 18

Strenght lvl 1

Health lvl 5

 

I think there should be no rng in character stats. Its really unfair and lame. I read people have 217 HP difference. Thats a lot. You would have to waste gemslots to get the same amount.

We are seeing a 20% difference in base hp between players, not a small variance.  The latest KR notes mention some kind of change to this but there are no specific details yet, nor was it mentioned in the latest Q&A.
