We appreciate your feedback, and while we understand your frustration, the compensation that I mailed to you was intended as a replacement for the Compensation Coupon that did not show up on your account page. Additionally, you are intended to only get either the compensation for #serendia, which was sent to you, or the compensation for #compensation. Because you qualified for #serendia, that is the compensation you were awarded. 

Yes... you are being compensated with buffs that may or may not be helpful for you. Yes people who had duplicates were given better compensation, no we don't qualify for all the compensation. 

This is how it feels to have corporations lie to your face. However I will not allow the ticket to close on his response, "GM_Cairag" is illiterate, and did not read that I requested he not respond to the ticket again. I stated I will patiently wait for a competent support member to respond to the ticket, and I will still wait for a competent support member to respond to the ticket.

@PM_Belsazar was the one who posted the original thread about compensation; many of us who were excluded from the automatic distribution have even provided proof that we were affected. And the majority of us have been ignored.

@GM_Cairag doesn't seem to understand what Belsazar laid out for those affected.

I sent screenshots, I used their bogus #compensation tag. Clearly their first attempt at compensating people did not properly cover the entire affected user base. Maybe they should revisit why that might be instead of implying that the rest of the affected population is undeserving of the compensation they initially laid out. Some of us, myself included, have theories - none of which have been confirmed OR denied. If there's a reason we may have been overlooked (due to re-claiming on the 29th, or some other reason), that should be addressed.

It's been publicly posted here on the forums that some people have been shown favoritism, and had compensation added to their accounts manually... So, it's my assumption (and I doubt I'm alone) that they are actively choosing to upset a large # of us early adopters (and the highest paying launch group) by giving us a clearly less desirable "compensation" package (and I'm sure they know the value) rather than what the initially promised. WHY they would do that is beyond me... especially when many of us have voiced that we will likely boycott the pearl shop because of this fiasco. Is it worth it to lose our continued support of the game? We're not asking for anything more than what was promised in the initial Compensation Distribution chart. The fact that we've expended this much time an energy over the issue (which is primarily about principles at this point) should be a driving factor in support rectifying the issue. Whether it's widespread distribution of the originally promised package, or an apology stating that the in-game items were merely a showing of goodwill, and that they are working on reviewing the concerns that many of us were left out of the automatically distributed compensation, SOMETHING needs to be said. Most of us are seeing the food x apologies in-game mails as a slap in the face, a bait-and-switch, etc... If there's some reason that the Comp B packs cannot be distributed to the remaining affected users, someone needs to explain exactly WHY.

I agree entirely. It's silly to hope the food is an act of good will, though, because  @GM_Cairag did respond to multiple tickets, however, stating that this is not "compensation for waiting for compensation" but, in reality, the only compensation we get, whether it be for Serendia or lack of Conq. pack items.

 

There have been multiple compensation solutions thrown out by a variety of players and all have been ignored. I understand if they don't want to give gem-shop items for rewards (I mean, even though we did pay IRL money for headstart!) but what about titles? If they can add "I like to move it move it" for a silly forum competition, why can't they add in Serendia Survivor as a title and distribute it the same way, as was outlined in a previous post of mine: give us three days in which we are allowed to post proof of being a Serendia Survivor and then lock the thread, distribute the rewards over the next month. Bam. Done. 

 

Instead, they'd rather be cutesy and give us a craftable food item instead of the bundles of neat/useful stuff... and EVEN THEN: that stuff wasn't for the Serendia survivors but was labeled as something we'd get in addition to our own compensation.

 

The fact remains that we paid for a head start that we did not receive, still do not have our proper character names, will NEVER have our proper guild names, were left at a competitive disadvantage and/or completely unable to obtain server firsts because of their errors... and somehow they feel like 10 craftable food items make up for it. 

 

 

Anyway, if this does go through and this compensation ends up being all we get, continue to be vocal- that is, after all, the right of the dissatisfied. We set a low price for Daum to regain our satisfaction and to move on and if they won't meet it, don't move on.In game reviews, let it be reflected that Daum is even worse than Trion ad backing out on promises. Every time a Reddit post talks about promises Daum is making, link this thread. Don't let them get away with lazy support because we're happy with the overall game: eventually, bad support/dev team choices will always ruin a game, regardless of how pretty the graphics are.

The problem is that they said people would receive gem-shop items. So whether or not they want to give them out, they already said they would. They're blatantly reneging on that by giving people the in-game mail items instead.

Also, I wholeheartedly agree with not letting it die until they come through.

It's a stunning game, but I'm not going to support it if they continue to blatantly lie to their players.

@CM_Jouska @GM_Felaxus I'm kind of at a lose for words. Well not so much I guess. Boggle this one. If someone properly got comp b and then #Serendia they get 10 more appologies and 10 awesome food buffs in addition to what they have already gotten. You basically said that you all do not want to give out the items give to the people who you got it right for. I'm not even sure why you needed 2 tags as almost everyone left in the cold at his point is Serendian. Adding the 2nd tag just set you up to screw over the Serendians yet again for one final time. Great work here.

The items in the image are clearly not 5 2 hour buffs that can be bought ingame with silver. The items are all worth pearls as you cant get most in-game. I'm just reeling at how you all fall into one mistake after another. Even if the offered items were on par. I still haven't gotten them.  #39221 

Get me closed out and i'll go on with my life. I'm sure you are done with this as crazy as you all seem at this point. There is no way you are going to compensate the compensation for the compensation.

I understand that the package with the cash shop items was not intended as a compensation for #serendia, but it should have been. The reason a lot of people from Serendia are upset, is that they saw the "comp B" package, and understandably expected that they would get those things as well, or at least something just as substantial, when what they ended up getting was silly craftable food worth very little. It did not measure up to what was expected and promised (Merv's pallete?).

Honestly, if those affected by Serendia had just gotten the items from "comp B" this thread would have a much different tone. I get that giving out "Serendia Specials" might have been an attempt at being cute and funny, but it just came across as insulting and not at all adequate. It seems that Daum does not rank the Serendia issue (essentially a character/guild wipe) very high on the list when deciding on how to compensate, so if they see it as just a minor nuisance and don't understand why people care so much, I am not sure what anyone can do to change their mind. Perhaps they are not gamers themselves, and are just ignorant on how much of a big deal it actually was to some people.

They probably do not want to give out free items. Cash shop items to them are the holy grail of income so why continue on this avenue?

That or they literally have no idea what they're going to do and are in full panic mode.

This applies specifically to a lost or item or multiples. But I will say this. GM Felaxus sent me a mail and it had the item. I can't say how much this small fix makes me happy. Thank you good Sir / Madam Felaxus! I appreciate your loyalty to us :)

For being a Serendia Survivor, not getting my Master Baiter title from CBT2 (got Triathlete only), and the time it took for them to answer my tickets (and then close them with an automated response), it is one of the worst customer service in a game I have ever received. I feel sorry for the people who never received their pre order items, and for the people like myself who had to decide to delete the characters they made (and spend over 4 hours or more playing) just because THEY messed up. They could of done server transfers for the Serendia people, but instead said delete and start over (after paying for head start no less). Right now either give me pearl shop items or the Serendia Survivor title. How hard is that?

That seals it for me, Daum EU lies and has extremely poor support. I'm not spending another dime on the game and I'll make sure my word is heard through the multiple channels I know of.

Thank you Daum for the nearly 3 weeks that lacked support for Compensation, and almost 2 weeks on beta titles. Thank you for showing us how you treat customers, immediately after setting up shop and releasing a game in a new territory. Thank you for the opportunity for us to show, with proof, to gaming sites that you back down on prior promises and ignore paying customers. Thank you for the time that we had where you did a bait and switch and called it a day. Thank you for failing to deliver on even the more recent compensation.

Oh, and one last thing. Shout out to GM Cairag for being the ONE dude out of the entire staff who actually told us what is happening. So don't hate on him for doing this, he is just the one who made it possible for the public to know about it.

Also, the ticket I used belongs to Novel, who made a comment about it a few pages back, but people didn't seem to notice so I made another post about it to try to inform everyone.

Utterly shocking that another day goes by, with no word from Daum....just...shocking!  I have never seen such poor support, and this is after almost 30 years of gaming online.  They make Trions' initial missteps look professional by comparison!

That temp ban is absolutely ridiculous... I don't know who call the shots, and/or whether or not any of us should actually be sympathetic towards certain community/support managers, but none of this is good for public relations. (And even if their hands are tied, what purpose is served by giving a warning/ban like that?!)

Clearly a lot of their problems are language/communication... which, as long as they have even somewhat intelligent, English speaking staff members, shouldn't be this bad.

10 GM Apology and 10 Serendia Specials is basically trying to sweep this entire thing under a rug.

My ticket has been open for 19 days with no resolution.  I hold little hope that Daum will do the RIGHT thing and provide that which was promised, but I'll continue to beat the drum until you at least provide a solid answer.  It's absolutely shameful that you continue to avoid providing answers.  If you at least had the stones to tell us that you and @PM_Belsazar lied to us that would be better than ignoring us, providing sub-par compensation (which, incidentally, I STILL have not received), and hoping we just forget it and move on.  Still, as much as I might like some QOL items from your cash shop, you'll not get a dime further from me until you address this situation satisfactorily.  

It's not like we're making unreasonable requests.  We only want what YOU offered, and in fact promised.  If I treated my customers this way I would have been fired long before the three week mark.  That says a lot about the corporate culture at Daum.  We've apparently long since left behind the notion that keeping customers happy is a priority.

There are still people like me who haven't gotten our conq pre-order items still, and its going on a month and some change now, I could careless about the compensation, I just want the items I pre-ordered.
