I'm really confused why this is still a thing. Partying with others means moving at tortoise pace. You'd think an MMO would encourage you to play it like an MMO. It doesn't even have to be better than solo grind but in the very least it should be equal.

Looting is a nightmare while in a party also. We really need a party loot bag so we can divide everything equally.

So far leveling / grinding with others means - getting screwed out of EXP and loot with 0 benefits.

If you like leveling as slow as possible and having to take forever to check all the loot on the ground I encourage you to make a few friends! You will not be disappointed. :P

If mob A give 100 xp and it takes 10 sec for a single person to kill it.... that is 600 xp a min.

If Mob A gives 100 xp and it takes a group of 5, 2 sec to kill it, they can kill 30 mobs, but only net 20 xp per mob and it still gives a grand total of 600 xp.

Groups kill mobs faster... and usually kill harder mobs which nets more xp. 

Therefore the only thing missing is the loot bag....

Since this was a locket thread I thought it was about the lack of booze...

But onto business. Yeah it really sucks. I'm fine with equal XP, and a loot bag would be nice.

Party exp needs to be worked on maybe similiar to this

Solo - 100%
Party of Two - 60% for each (total 120%)
Party of Three - 40% for each (total 120%)
Party of Four -  30% for each (total 120%)
Party of Five - 25% for each (total 125%)

they should all be slight better killspeed vs exp% gained so we can promote grouping since this is an MMO afterall

Also loot should have 3 ways of distrubition
need/greed
random
party leader only(if you're playing with guilds usually this is the case)

exp bonus should increase with more ppls in party

Don't make it better than solo grinding, you don't want to push solo players out...but it should not be a nerf.

will never be better than solo grind as you get 100% xp for yourself as well as all the loot.
we need to promote group play. like for real or we're really gonna lose alot of players.

No.... at least 80% for 2 man.... it was 70% for alpha

1. Then the game will become way too group dependent since people who try to solo will just get PKed by a group of 2.
2. No one will be willing to grind the higher levels without a group because it means you can save hundreds of hours getting to "x" level.
3. 
If you want to solo then you're being killed out of the high profit or better exp spots and being forced to go level in the "lower income areas".
4. After a long time people will catch on groups are the only way and it will become pointless to try to pve without a group endgame(like Lineage 2 before the GoD update)
5. People will start to only group strong PVE classes to level even faster or strong PVP classes if its a competitive spot

The most important one though is

China farmers will be able to profit even easier from power leveling services and selling accounts(making ALL locations overpopulated with groups of bots who will constantly just run back even if you kill them) You will see the top level players in all following china trains of bots when they're sleeping.

2 man farming at 70% is fine.  Otherwise there's absolutely 0 reason to group.

2 man farming at 50% is fine because you have twice the pull speed and twice the kill speed. You can kill even faster than 2 times because one person doesn't need to kite the monsters.

Wow... no.  This is only barely true if there's enough mobs in a spot for you to chain pull a full 14 mobs back to back without beating the mob respawn timers.  Then you can compete with a solo grinder, if barely.  Most of the time, the mobs will be too far spread out and you'll barely be able to compete and get enough exp for both of you to level.  Also... kiting mobs... why...

Does the mob respawn support such fast grinding to keep that 600xp/min continuously though? Most games run out of mobs to kill when you group up resulting in a loss.

Wouldn't it be better if each person kill 1 mob each? that's 600xp in about 10 secs.

No, they definitely forgot it. Taking into account this and the economy, they for sure forgot this wasnt a single player. I guess we are heading towards KR isolationist gameplay.

Heaven forbid that playing with others be important. If you get ganked by 2+ people, you bring a few with you to gank them back. That's part of the fun.
