Nice guide, but I have some question and you didn't mention about one thing.

This one thing is that each time you get more Amity points (from previous successful conversations) the amaunt of energy you need to spend to start a new conversation increased. At least that happened with NPC in Glish. I don't know if that this happens to all NPCs.

My question is about topics that you can talk with NPCs. In Knowledge menu you can see that Lorenzo has only one topic that he is interested in but for example Allans (he is a Stable Keeper too) has got 3 topics that he is interested in. But for some unknown reasons you can talk with him only about first topic. Sometimes it becomes very difficult (I can even say it's impossible) to get 4-5 Sparking Interest Failure if you have only 1-2 Knowledge to discuss that has less than 100%. This situation happend to me when I talk with Allan. I have collected all the knowledge about Calpheon Territory (Stable Manager) (there are 7 people to meet) and I have 2 people that have less than 100% chance to Sparking Interest. So how can I fail 4-5 times in one round? Is there any possible to change the topic of our conversation or there is a another way to accomplish this or it's just a bug that require from me to do something that is impossible? :D

Very good guide, straight to the point and covered the important things!

When I started with BDO I was so confused by this system and didn't find any decent guide to it. Eventually I learned it myself, your guide will make sure that people can easily learn it, well done! :)

Yup, I have this problem too. It must be impossible as I tried everything. Kind of a stupid thing as it rewards...not knowing stuff? It doesn't even let you talk about irrelevant things. It's really frustrating.

As you can see that Allan is interested with Nagas as his 3rd interest. I have farm Nagas for getting Knowledge about them and after I discover all without a single Knowledge about Nagas and still I haven't been able to talk with Allan about Nagas... :/

I hope so, but so far, I've found that getting/learning every bit of knowledge makes this easier as there are some combos with very low chances of success. It's still counter intuitive thought but it works.

I wish I watched this video sooner. It took me a lot of trial and error to figure out how to do the minigame. There's just not that much tuts focused on the small things like this vs. enchanting gear or taming horses and stuff. I just basically ignored this part of the game until I was hungry for energy cap and there were a few npc that just refused to talk to me and wanted me to talk to so and so other npc first but that npc also didn't want to talk to me too so I had to get him to like me before I can get the knowledge set. The Calpheon royalty npc is one of those. Made me talk to 2 npc first, I'm still stuck on the 2nd one because that npc only wants to hear about theology arg!!!

As far as gaining enough amity for quests, how do you know how much you have to gather? I thought if you hovered over the icon it would tell you, but for all the 3 or so NPCs that I've done this for, it still isn't working.

Thanks for the video but you didn't explain anything except what it does and click these pictures....there's so much info you're missing for each and every bit you've tried to explain.

You forgot something in the video...

The symbols represent the NPC's horoscope. If your horoscope aligns with the NPC you get 100% amity chance. At least that's what I'm told. I have yet to see an npc with my horoscope (black dragon).
