Game Keeps Freezing

I played roughly 15 hours of this game fine, and then decided to try out fishing. Fishing went well for ~15 minutes and then all of a sudden my game crashes, this 15 minute then crash cycle (even outside of fishing now) was on repeat indefinitely until I uninstalled my game. I uninstall and reinstall and the game magically works the next day, for about 4 hours. I decide to try out fishing again, boom crashes within fifteen minutes. A common occurrence I've found is that it's with Nvidia GPUs, as if you look at all the other freeze reports, they all have varying GPUs. I've attempted to rollback my GPU with no luck.

Nvidia GTX 960 SSC 4GB

Intel Pentium G3220 @ 3.00 Ghz, dual core.

I'm getting this too with a AMD R9 390.

AFK Fish for like 15 minutes, BAM! Freeze and have to restart the game. Can't AFK Fish.

Did everything. Uninstall, reinstall, compatibility, exclusion, update all drivers, etc.

This is obviously an in-game bug that needs to be fixed.

Great (but awful) to know someone else is experiencing this, especially with different specs. I can't think of any driving factor though considering it obviously doesn't affect everybody; where are you fishing at? Maybe that has something to do with it?

AMD R9 380 here.

Are you running Full-Screen? Full-Screen Windowed? Windowed?
Because my refresh rate automatically defaults to 50hz I run in full-screen Windowed and haven't experience said crashes. I'm also assuming by crashing you're referring to "The Display Driver Has Stopped Responding."

Try messing with your window settings. Assuming your GPU isn't OC'd as well...... in certain cases that can cause crashes; particularly CCLK, MEMCLK usually renders the device unusable forcing a reset. Take notice of what applications you have running in the background. Hardware accelerated applications have been known to crash the card due to resource conflicts.

Can't say much about NV but just DX11 drivers across vendors are naturally buggy. The implementation is not particularly accurate (or broken) and hence it does not run properly on all supported hardware (if any.) It's kind of like an emulator, or the idea of it.

Full Scree Windowed and the issue is not on my side. I have never had any issues with my PC whatsoever. BDO is clearly the culprit here.

Same here running an R9 390. I've already quit the game because of this which wasn't easy to do. Hyped the game ever since KR OBT and now we get this. I'm done.

My screen freezes while I'm riding my horse. It did this last night and now today also. Tried rolling back my drivers and updating them; it still did not help. I play on an MSI gaming laptop with an Nvidia 840m. Never had problems until now.

I've been getting a lot of crashes, both graphical freezes and super weird invisible party members + mobs. I just got done killing 6 red nose scrolls with my 5 man party without seeing anyone nor the boss (could see the red crosshair lol). Also getting a TON of File is Corrupted. It's basically a minigame for me to fix it. I look up logs to see which .paz file was corrupted THIS TIME, run the program everything and copypaste the file name in it, delete the corrupted .paz, then delete the version.dat. Reboot, launch game's launcher, wait for repair, cross fingers and play.

GTX970

My friend has the same time played in this game and has NEVER crashed.

Same problem here, mostly when fishing, rarely when auto-pathing.

Lol  im a trader, so when crashes (stops responding) (just game, not video card) I have to wait 10 mins or so before I can trade again,  which is really annoying.

I'm Running 8350 FX and GTX960,  when it runs, it runs just fine, with rather bad frame rate drops in cities. but nothing game breaking,  well unless the game breaks, which...it keeps doing, from time to time, oddly never in cities.  but in transit..grrr
