@Impulse can u plz link your awakening pve build  and rotation? i love my witch (58) until awak, but now iam strugling how to play it effectively in pve, before awak she was mob harvester, but now i dont know how to play, new skills doesnt suits me at this moment

I'm far from an expert (unless you have horse breeding questions LOL).

-- As far as build goes, max every awakened skill and flow. For staff skills keep your support skills: heals, blue ball are the most important.

-- Rotation is vague but to start:

Always start with Equilibrium Break and use the +20 AP addon. Follow with Thunder Storm, Fissure Wave (hold to get the flow to fire). Everything should be dead by then. If not, can break again.

Edit:

I lied, always start with Toxic Flood. As you get more comfortable grinding, you can easily pull huge groups of mobs with it. I use Detonative Flow to finish off stragglers. Until you get the last flow skills at 59 and 60, Voltaic Pulse and Yoke of Ordeal are situational.

No, it's a very good idea. I had a few more points and kept Sage + Ult Blizzard but honestly I don't cast them ever. As Zephan said, I maxed Fog. You can combo it grinding very nicely now.

100% PvE focused as I grind from 58 to 60.

Not sure why you would use all those skill points to max Fog for PvE though. I get that the idea of weaving it in and utilizing synergy between both weapons looks nice on paper, but sadly not even needed since awakened skills have such massive dmg. Using it and than swapping back to Sphera again, I think just slows down grind speed.

But main problem with both Freeze and Fog in PvE was always the fact that tanky&harder hitting mobs were immune to the freezing status effect. You can only freeze mobs that doesn't need to be frozen in the first place (great design)¬¬

I think Lava&Poison pool does the job better now, If you want mobs better grouped and not all attacking you. At least no one's immune to that.

It's imo enough to keep Fog at level 1/2. It's still useful when on staff(for example healing) and need a panic button(especially in PvP) for super armor and some mele range cc.

It is true that it is situational. Switching back really isn't that bad though. You can W+F (some damage) and then follow up with a heavy hitter and both get the frozen damage bonus. Oh I also have all my non-awakening addons free, really, so I did the +20 AP damage on fog for fun. But you are correct that it isn't some super awesome combo.

It is more a matter of having excess SP. Giving up all the staff attack skills frees a lot of points. I find fog more useful--limited as it is--than any of those. Like I said, I kept ultimate blizzard but never cast it in PvE. I tried in a node war last night and it often a death sentence.

There has been a lot of helpful info in this thread for new awakened.

Still level 56. My starting PvE rotation that I settled into is: Voltaic Pulse (+cast speed) > Toxic Flood (fast) > Equilibrium Break (down atk) > Evasion/Dash back > Fissure > Yoke > Thunder Storm.

Mostly things are dead by the time I start Fissure, so rest are "as needed". But this is what works for me. I also like - well really love the combat system of BDO in general because I can also mix things up and still pull off some cool looking stuff with Awakened witch.

Imo. On the korean servers rednose is very looked down to, Hebe is every single class favors most thats why Im also listing it as BiS >.<

Just because its not the favorite doesn't mean its not BIS as well.

That aside.  Thanks for the indepth look here.

I defiantly like my witch more I have both to 57 same ap as well and the witch is faster.  The main reasons are that aqua jail is a slow cast and damage.  It isn't that instant damage you get with witch EQB.  The other reason is that the main damage skill I just mentioned made me feel very open to attack and grabs whereas witch has a block on the main damage.  You can really feel it if you grind higher level places that the witch edges out slightly when its rough and has better toolkit for staying alive or mitigating damage.  Most of the wizard skills are very slow and stationary feeling to me.

The 100% skill though I like wizard more its a straight up nuke.

Also the witch skills seem to flow better for me.  Wizard feels odd at times not sure what it is though.

yeah, pick a ranger for boss alt. Way better than witch.

I have both ranger and witch boss alts and in my experience they are both as good. The ranger can do some more damage if you "work" for it but still the witch is pretty close and far more relaxing... They both get to the high damage pool (they get similar gold bars/seals and draw aggro with same frequency), and from there it is pure RNG to get rare loot anyway. I personally prefer the witch cause if I forget to refill potions it makes little difference. Ranger without potions on the other hand is boss lost....

Bhegs and muskans are a must have. You can replace the other 2 with Heve until pretty much all the rest of your gear is sorted out

Indeed, you can go for rednose too till you have hebe, if you dont want to get hebe you could even just use rednose till youre feel like swapping :D
