Please make Rough Stone and Logs a Byproduct of Workers

11 posts in this topic

Please consider adding Rough Stone as a byproduct from workers who work at mining nodes.  Also consider adding logs as a byproduct of workers at lumber camps.

If not then can we have AFK mining and lumberjacking like we do fishing?  Go to some mine or lumber camp with the right tool equipped and do hard labor AFK.

I don't think this should be a option, Gathering via mining various ores give lots of Rough stone, I personally have over 5000 of the stuff just be personally mining, I would say mining for about an hour or so can produce about 400-500 ore depending on gathering level.

I'm pretty sure I get rough stone from one of my workers.

When you can get those blackstone hardening shards, you'll gladly go gathering and forget about this topic.

I am pretty usre coldmic is right. I have rough stones in my inventory, and I don't mine at all, only a few times when I first started out. I am fairly certain my workers are obtaining it from the iron mine node just east of Glish. Otherwise from the lead node just west, though I am pretty certain it is from the iron node.

I agree with the log as a byproduct. Honestly it doesn't make any sense to have a general type of log (Log) among specific types. For example, if I told someone "use a log", it doesn't which type it is, all types apply, because they are all 'logs'. It's just confusing.

While bdotome isn't perfect for info, it says that node gives rough MUD crystals. not rough stones and I personally don't remember ever getting rough stones from it when I had that node being gathered.
