I'm not a Japanese weaboo teach me senpai type of guy so can we vote on these new classes and their names? The Musa? the second one I can't even pronounce or type properly. The names were too Asian (blader and plum) but they sound so much better than what you guys came up with. Thanks for giving us two new classes to enjoy but the names are straight up crap.

" I need a Musa " " I need a maewah" like wtf come on!

Someone's gonna post the Korean history behind the names to prove you wrong. In reality a lot of us north Americans don't care about lore and history, if a name sounds foreign or something we aren't familiar with, we won't accept it.

Surely well get used to them over time, but realistically Blader sounds way better to a NA audience

Well pardon my ignorance but I just think they're awful. Either they tried to prevent people from creating them cause they know so many people want to roll those classes, Iunno!

it is ignorance, but I agree. I hate the Korean names

I believe the way to pronounce Maewah is May-wa. Could be wrong. Though I do agree, I liked the original names better and I'll still call them Blader and Plum.

I do not have the slightest clue how to pronounce those names, would sound like gibberish if I attempted to do so.

Regardless, they do sound a bit strange mixed into the other classes current names.

I really love the history behind it but in all honesty I'll be calling them Blader and Plum. That's what they first were to me and that's what they'll always be.

Musa translate to Warrior, Maehwa to Plum, so they are the same just in their native language.
Ninja/Kunoichi aren't english either, do you hate those too, or are the ok because movies? :P

You're playing an Asian game, can you really complain?

I'm going to borrow a bit from someone's joke post in another thread, but we should start petitioning to rename Ninja to "Knifer" and Kunoichi to "Sakura"(still too foreign) "Cherry" and threads like this one make me sad about my own country.

Honestly, I don't understand the complains behind the Musa and Maehwa name change. They're classes based on Korean history, so it makes sense that they'd have Korean-sounding names. This game is very particular about its realism, so this shouldn't come as any surprise (even though we have a "western" sounding name for Tamer).

And they're pronounced:
Moo-Sah.
May-hwaa.

You don't have to be a weaboo to learn something outside your cultural bubble.

If you can read, you can take 2 seconds to go over and guess how each syllable might sound.

I just call the blader the bladder, and the plum, the tiny bladder that leaks.

And warrior works for what it is, though perhaps "Knight" or the equivalent in any other Germanic language would be slightly better, since their equipment and combat style resembles that of medieval European soldiers.

Until they introduced some of these god awful anime awakening weapons that make me want to cry.
