Kzarka Crystals

So after looking for a long while I'm still unsure what crystals to put into a Kzarka weapon as well as balance it out with my gloves to get the most efficient stats out of this, I know about the crystals later on but based on our patch right now any of you top tier rangers can give me a little guidance? I've heard some talks about skipping crit entirely maxing out 5 attack speed with about 2 crit 3 with a serendia special and only slotting the 5 AP in the weapon, something about the 10 extra AP outweighing the crit. I've tested a few things out for myself and I'm still unsure how to balance out the gloves and Wep, easy to get 5 of each but is it really efficient? Thanks in advance.

You need carmae if you want to reach 5 as/crit. While using AS food. Or you can go to 4 crit 5 as with as food/serendia without carmae. 1 crit gives 5% crit, so it's 5% more damage.

AP ... no one knows exactly how much damage it adds.

Even if it doesn't seem that efficient? I can easily max out both crit and attack speed without food but even then its a small subtle change. I was wondering what would be the bigger dps output

It's 4%, not 5%.

Also, 5% more critical hit rate not 5% more damage. It's exactly what it says it is, 5% more chance to critically hit your target. This could proc once in every 1000 attacks, or 5 times in a row. RNG is RNG.

So which are you recommending crystal wise? Send help Ayl, you're my only hope.

5% crit hit results in 5% more damage.

And it's 5%.

It's not, the stats which are measured in blocks of 5 are 4% per block.

5% crit is not 5% damage, it's simple as that.

It's just some maths ... 0% crit doesnt give you any more damage. Crit multiplier is 200%. So 5% crit chance gives you 5% more damage overall.

Do you have any link for this? Because mine says 5% per point : https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/3a6xkp/critical_chance_test_results/

lvl 5 = 20% crit, 1 lvl = 4% crit unless you fail at math. "It's just some maths" lol....

20 divided by 5 isn't 5.

"It's just some maths ..."

However, even if the critical multiplier is 200% (I've had people tell me it isn't but I haven't looked into it myself), it doesn't equate to a flat 5% damage increase due to the nature of critical hit rate. You're never guaranteed to critically hit unless the ability has a 100% critical hit chance, and few spells have that.

It's pretty easy to understand, if there's a 1% chance that X can happen during Y activity. X is not guaranteed to happen even if you repeat Y activity exactly 100 times. 5% critical hit rate is not a flat 5% damage increase, it's just a 5% increased likelihood that you'll critically hit your target.

Haha this facepalm.

But for 5% dmg overall, it's just a comparison.

Ofc it's not +5% dmg on your skill.

@Below : facepalm was for 4% crit, not 5%. But, what is hard to understand that +4% crit rate gives you 4% more damage overall? Or for you, boosting your crit chance doesnt increase your damage?
