Fastest way to level up cooking?

Hello my cooking level is skilled level 2 and I am trying to level it up to skilled level 6.  Are there any suggestions on the fastest/most efficient way to level up my cooking?  I thought about just making a bunch of beers but I'm not sure if the experience from that is worth it.

cook beer, do cooking quest, might learn new recipes in the process too. Recipes with more complex ingredients will give more xp than those using fewer or less ingredient. Recipes that need precooked one also give more xp.

there are 4 daily cooking quest at Olvia inn. not too bad to come by ingredients

1. make cheese by drying milk. you will need 2 milk for the very first time, as your reward each time choose 3 milk and you can keep on doing it again and again

2. boiled eggs. hopefully you got a farm with chicken and eggs

3. fried chicken. again, if you have a chicken farm (and getting eggs too)

4. beer. need potatos, corn, wheat, etc.

the only issue i have noticed with these quests is i think they will not pop unless you have done the cooking quest chain in Velia that starts with a potato. also i think there is a skill level threshold before they pop.

if all else fails just grind the heck out of making beer (for your workers) and grain soup (for your health training), all you need is at least 1 farm and collect potato or corn in start area.

oh, and i suggest not buying one cooking station at a time. buy like 5 or 6. drop them down. burn through them, toss them. repeat. i find it irritating to have to take so many trips to the inn to keep buying just 1 at a time.

Lots and lots of beer. if you can't use it, you can sell it.

I have done the cooking quest chain in Velia that starts with a potato and looked for the cooking quest in Olvia Inn, no luck yet. Is there a cooking skill threshold for the daily cooking quests in Olvia? Will go back and make sure I didn't miss any cooking quests in Velia, which is possible...  :P

My cooking skill is lower than yours and the cheese, egg, and beer quests show up at Olvia inn.  Maybe it requires completing some other quest chain.

Check your quest log and make sure the "All"  quest box is checked

Thank you Ronus. I found out that little tidbit i was not doing about a week ago. I know there is at least one daily quest in Olvia I haven't done yet, was in a hurry to move on... Will go back and check it out. :D

i am not sure of the threshold. sorry about that, it could be char level, or it could be skill level, or a combo of both. sorry again, i know they are there but a lot of stuff in this game i can never figure out because so much information is withheld. but good luck!! also i think if you look up olvia dailies on youtube you will find a lot to help

beer is

5 grain (wheat, corn, or potato)

1 sugar (buy at inn)

6 water (buy at inn)

2 leavening agent (buy at inn)

and i am quite sure you can make beer from the lowest level cooking skill level possible, i have done it on a few toons.
