I heard a lot of players complain about the expensive costumes in the chat today and that they are willing to...

They are making more money than they would be lowering the prices -

Just groundless assumption

literally everyone I know and play with (100+ players) has spent money in the cash shop.

Many have spend hundreds. The prices are here to stay.

When you look around, you see more players without cash shop item than with.

Its not hard to imagine that, with cheaper pricing more ppl would buy. and imho, it would more than easyly grant them more money than actualy.

Without considering the whales ( thoses would buy everything anyway ) all ppl with money value sense barely buy something because its clearly way too expensive compare to what you get.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read.

Buckle up then and read the quote below!

they would make a lot more money if they lowered their prices a bit

10 people buying costumes at $30 = $300

If the price drops to $15 per costume, they'd need 20 people just to make the same amount they were making. Essentially they'd need to DOUBLE the amount of paying customers just to make the SAME amount of money.

Nope,

Furthermore, Black Desert Online’s cash shop is also performing extremely well. “A game with a buy-to-play business model normally has a much lower conversion rate for paid in-game items compared to free-to-play games,” explains Kim. “But Black Desert Online is recording a much higher pay ratio than the average 11 percent normally seen in free-to-play games.”

People complaining about the cost of costume sets make me laugh. Any other game people would be willing to spend 100's of hours, weeks running raids hoping for their awesome gear drops to make them look super. Time is money right ? Daum is letting you purchase a full look in this awesome looking world for a mere 30$. So hours/weeks of raiding or 3 hours working at Mc Donald's. Please go get a -----ing job if you can't afford 30$ then you shouldn't be playing video games!

If you don't like it, don't buy it.  Vote with your wallet and quit your complaining.

If enough people who didn't like the pricing didn't purchase anything in the cash shop, Daum would have to revise that pricing because they would lose profits.  If enough people continue to buy from the cash shop, they won't revise their pricing because they're making enough profit.

I'm sorry.  Am I being too logical?

I don't want to pay for costumes.  I want to earn them by playing the game, and so do other people, otherwise wtf are we even playing for, watching numbers change? In the absence of that option, there should be cheaper prices on the cash shop.
