Real Armor costume

the cry babies want that full plate too. Apparently rangers run around looking like iron man in their world.  Even dungeons and dragons has characters with cleavage and skin, these people act like it's just Koreans. In don't see anyone complaining about the angel costume for males which is even more skin revealing than the female version

Oy great , more prude overly sensitive Americans. It's fine if you don't like the costumes but to act like they are for perverts or the girls look "slutty" is just prude. The closest one is the angel costume, nothing else flaunts that much skin.

But I'm British, we don't have prudish cultural sensibilities, we don't censor sex or hide it behind high age ratings. I just, y'know, have taste and a little self respect. If you want to dress your characters up in costumes real people wouldn't wear to an anime convention, that's fine, no-one is stopping you, indeed, Daum/PA are facilitating you with countless pearl store costumes to choose from! I, and many, many others, are pleased for you, but have different, at least equally valid tastes, which are NOT facilitated.

Yes, Black Desert is a Korean game. But before you or anyone else trots out that particularly fallacy to defend the status quo, note that adaptations for Western cultural sensibilities were promised (and y'know, maybe you noticed, a pretty big one is that our version is B2P).

Also, before the fallacy of "you're here voluntarily, you have no right to complain" is trotted out, take a moment to consider the last time you complained about something. Why, you just complained about "prude overly sensitive Americans" in your post! I'm going to assume you are American. Well, you're voluntarily American! You could revoke your citizenship and become stateless, and live on a boat in international waters! Ergo you have no right to complain! Nonsense, obviously.

EDIT: And apparently Rangers run around with high heels in yours. Ever tried wearing high heels? Ever tried sprinting in them? Or say, doing a backwards flip? Oh my full plate would be so unrealistic. I demand more prosthetic angel wings!

We know the less armor a female has, the more defense they gain

lol "become stateless" being loyal to your country doesn't mean bending over at every whim, nor does it mean you allow your government to trot all over one's rights, And you're a Brit? Lol your society is almost as bad as ours.  Besides your ignorant political banter, I never said there shouldn't be a mix of realistic armor; yet everyone screaming "Slutty" is overkill.  I believe having a chainmail underwear option would honestly solve the problem for most of these people crying.

Anyone who came to black desert not expecting the outfits we have seriously were just ignorant.

1: It's korean and was already shown to be in a realistic anime style

2: All of the future cash shop items are available for view in the korean version, if you did not do your homework that is your own fault.

3: this is BDO, not your game, if you don't like it, get out (To mock your "don't like your state, then leave" comment)

are you really? because statements like "real people wouldn't wear to an anime convention" make you seem really spiteful

I think you could make your point and ask for more variety without implying that I am a "stripper" just because I enjoy the costumes that show some skin

e; pretty sure doing a backflip in high heels is more realistic than doing a backflip in full plate, lol..

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume you are being deliberately obtuse. On the off chance this isn't the case, I will however stress my point was that arguments from realism are quite spurious... and that I was not in fact making one myself. This is evidenced by reading the post which I was quoting.

Woosh. Okay. And this isn't really the place for political arguments (and my own point was a logical one, not making a value judgement; I'm going to again give the benefit of the doubt and assume this mistaken interpretation was made deliberately to try to make an ad hominem attack).

Then again, reading point three... maybe you legitimately think you are making a compelling argument?

Are you criticizing women for their choice of apparel or for their chosen field of employment?

This really is a no-win kinda minefield. :P

Please give us armors for the SHIELD/ TANK class of the game.

I can understand a sorceress magically being able to walk around in heels, but not someone taking hits with a massive shield and even bigger spear.

We have the girly outfits, and they are great. Now give us outfits we can fight in. You know... some WITHOUT heels and that have armor that actually protects us from damage.

I can agree with the desire, however...

I can understand a sorceress magically being able to walk around in heels, but not someone taking hits with a massive shield and even bigger spear.

...which are a projection of Elion's will and thus without mass. :P

Besides, if I log in and alla sudden my Valk's in flats, we're gonna have words. ;)

I don't think it's too much to ask for a proper set of armor. The only one I see upcoming is that aker guard (or something) one someone posted which looks good.

I don't want my heels gone in all outfits. They look nice with dresses.

However, this shouldn't mean we can't have non-heels outfits for when we are in combat as an option to those of us who want to feel like tanks.
