The Cooldown on Dragon Bite needs to go.

This mornings patch brought heavy changes to a class that already had questionable issues. 

ITT: The three second cooldown now on Dragon Bite immobilizes the class. 

Body:

Animation Cancels: The basic animation cancel of W + F and RMB has been nerfed. The stamina drain is immense, which, in my opinion, I can live with. 
My biggest complaint is the "stuck" we're feeling after attacks such as Bloom and Gale. I can no longer Dragon Bite out of them, or Chase. This too, I can live with. 

Dragon Bite: The issue here is the highly mobile skill, and main opener to many of our hardest hitting combos. The unable to use on cooldown is in fact, ridiculous. There's no fluidity and being that most skills now disable Musa from moving - "sticking"; I feel is an issue.

I'm not asking for much of a thought. This is my annual rage awareness thread. 

Tldr; Keep the changes, even the ninja DP nerf but I'd like to see the skill Dragon Bite able to be used on cooldown once more.
The inability to use skills on cooldown - it's like I'm playing TERA all over again.

Just FYI, there is a way better animation cancel, it's more cost effective AND it allows you to go even faster.

Edit: I cant seem to find the post. Guess I'll try to explain it to you instead.

1. Bind WW to a key (Escape --> Settings --> Input --> 'Assigned Key(WW)'

2. Learn Chase 2 if you havent already

And that's it, you should be good to go. 
The main difference is that now instead of doing W+F+RMB you will be doing X(Whatever key you bind WW to) + LMB.
This will cost you way less stamina

Uhm, there has always been a cooldown on Dragon Bite though? If anything they have reduced the cooldown.

I'll reiterate. I can't use Dragon Bite when it's on cooldown. I could before. Now I can't. It's really hindering my gameplay experience.

Hmm, that's weird. Because I've never been able to use it while it's on cooldown. 

Are you playing Musa or Maehwa?

Musa. My rotation included the ability to use the skill off cooldown. There's even an animation cancel where one could Chase forward > DB > Chase Forward repeat.

Mmh alright, that could explain it then. 

As I said, I've never been able to use it during the cooldown, and that is as a Maehwa. 

To be honest I don't see the issue here, you just gotta adjust your playstyle a bit. And this is coming from someone playing maehwa, a class that got more abilities that it cant use whilst on cooldown than the Musa class does.

You could always use dragon bite on cooldown on both Musa and Maehwa, you might be confusing not being able to use it on cool down with it's 2 sub skills lunar slash and dragon claw.

I understand why they nerfed the ability to spam DB, but a 3 second cd is too long.  I also use DB as an opener and when the combo is done, I use DB again into the next combo.   3 seconds leaves me standing there motionless, and for musa, motionless = dead.

A simple fix, changing it to a 2 second cd will allow most rotations to end and start over with DB again, and still disable the ability to spam it.

Example: DB/Blind thrust/ult nemesis slash and start over with DB into my next combo.   Currently with the 3 sec cd, I'm standing still after ult nemesis slash waiting for DB.

TBH it's an improvement in my eyes. Really only use it for the lunar slash so this allows me to pump it out faster and take less Dmg after each use. As for the Ani cancel WW+LMB like another poster said. These are all improvements except for the Rising Storm really. Which sucks, but oh well.
