They dont know the meaning of communication. Look at our shit CM Jouska. He only pops up to lock threads and/or say something sparky. Tytyes is far more active than him and I'm kinda jealous of the French players for getting a decent CM.

Then do your fishing in a safezone, if you don't already know the safe gold spots don't expect me to tell you :P. Thing is I never started doing things like this until the carebear patch, I would imagine this kind of stuff has increased 10x since then.

Wouldn't call this PvP, nor killing the game. Just retards who can't PvP combined with retards who don't know how to afk progress properly (or want the creme de la creme fishing spots and expect to fish all through the night and the work day uninterrupted... No mate) = this.

Just got to laugh at those antics, while they are playing their little games, other top PvP guilds are focusing on actually progressing in preparation for decent PvP with Valencia updates. Karma is a wonderful thing in more ways than one, they will get their asses handed to them when they have to actually go up against real challenges in a few weeks so let them enjoy the few battles they can actually win.

Lets see how many of them hug the safe zones after they are facerolled repeatedly by real PvP'ers.

Separate PvP Servers with the normal ruleset... and PvE Servers where both have to desclare.. and problem solved.

What he wanted doesn't matter. It's not like he pulls strings over at Daum and Pearl Abyss. (KR had no xp loss for over a year). I want a CM that's active like him. If you read that instead of returning to the childish carebear nonsense, you'd have seen that. I'm starting to think most of you are legitimately retarded. Also if you're going to make such statements, don't be afraid to tag me.

Nah, removing PvP would be too nice. We need more harsher penalties for red karma guys since its still not hardcore enough.

All the CM's here are ok at best IMO. Jouska used to be a lot more talkative and he got pretty quiet lately.

Daum EU really needs to re-evaluate their stance on communication with their community because it's getting a bit ridiculous.

Their insistence on being tight-lipped is just snowballing into a bigger problem and frankly I was really unhappy to hear that they've decided to just let people rage instead of addressing the community. Cross that with iffy moderation and a near total lack of any assurances people commenting even have the game and aren't a sockpuppet account for someone and it's set up to get worse and worse over time.

Really? That's why 44 levels ( Over 75% of the game ) is NOT PVP? PVP is only a small part of the end game. Gathering, Crafting, Trading, Fishing, Breeding, Farming, etc is PVP right?  According to you it is!  BDO is NOT a PVP game! It's a mmo that caters to EVERYONE, not just you!  I have 10 characters and I play every day since before launch. Most of my characters are in their 30's and I don't want to PVP. I'm having a blast with this game. So is my wife. There is Sooo much to do and I'll never have to PVP to have fun. 

As a matter of fact, yes, we would like to advance beyond level 44 to experience the higher content but rude idiot PVP'ers keep us from doing that. However, with this new "no exp loss if pk'ed" addition, we can safely venture on. All pk'ers do now is inconvenience us. 

When will you PVP'ers understand that this is NOT JUST a PVP game and stay in your own little world and leave others that don't want to be there alone!

44 levels are 75% of the game? Oh come on. The first 44 levels are around 15% of the game. You spend MUCH more time in endgame. Lvl 50 to 51 is nearly the same time as Lvl 1 to 50.

I could go with this, though 2 other options:

  1. re-instate the Level 50 pvp-enable quest.  Granted some PvE oriented players will not be happy with this since it locks them out of a lot of content, but on the other hand many people used to ask for this quest to be fixed before being completely ignored by everyone at Daum/PA.
  2. I think a server rule-set that allows OWPvP in cases of GvG would work.  I understand some people believe OWPvP automatically means FFA, but this is simply incorrect. 

Option #2 would still need something for outlaws.  Perhaps if they kill an opposing guild member under level 45?  Could consider them civilians, and killing them a war crime.  And yes, forgot to mention I think with Option #2, everyone in either guild at war should be subject to OWPvP anywhere.

You'll spend more time going from 50-51 than you will going 1-45.


Besides that, there's no level cap so 1-44 is what percent of infinity? Also the pre 45 content is LITERALLY the smallest portion of the game.

Depends what you consider pre-45.  Much of that content is a "game-long" process.  You don't stop using life-skills just because you reached level 45.  If you consider it quests, then currently content is greater 1-45.  (or are there more quests after 45 than before?  Also, pvp level is originally meant to be 50 so that might tip the scale further.)

The amount of time it takes to level isn't really an indication of content.  The only content in an entire game might be a chicken and an axe.  If it takes longer to level at level 50 because you have to kill the chicken 50 more times, that doesn't mean there is more content for that level.

Not that this is particularly relevant.  It's pretty well established that this game isn't meant to be PvP, or PvE, but PvX.  I think the more valuable question is how to balance that, even if that means multiple rule-sets.
