Exploit AFK Auto Loop Weight Gain

So early this morning we caught people red handed, they were using ( invite to party command ) to knock you off AFK strength gain upon using a pack walking in town. Yes, there is a command to reject party invites, however this is just something else that you have to do before you go afk. Please fix! *People are lazy and they don't want to have to set to block party invites before going AFK, and then have to unset the commands to start playing again.

Because of the reason you said (reject party invites option); there is no reason for them to fix this "exploit". This is working as intended and it is up to the player to make sure they take steps to prevent it if they wish to do so. It isn't up to the company to protect players from their own stupidity.

Actually, an incoming party request cancelling an action that you the player set your character doing is what is stupid.

Stupid design.

Why do you believe this is as intended? I see no logical reason for it to be this way.

Hard to agree with you when the game gives you the option to turn it off.....If there was no option then yes...I would 100% agree, but it is up to YOU as a player to check the box because otherwise a person could put you in a party while you are say fishing, then put on special deals and essentially "steal" your money if say a relic shard or something of nat nature drops. I am almost positive that is why the action stop system is in place.

What a stupid mechanic. Then again, it doesn't surprise me one bit when you have other stupid mechanics like emoting while in combat by virtue of text chatting. What game does that bullshit?

Tested this with my husband - it doesn't stop you auto-pathing, it just gives you a popup asking if you want to join the party.  Have you got a food-eating macro running or something?  Having <enter> automatically pressed could cause you to wind up in a party you didnt intend to be in.

Also guild pings seem to re-route our members now and again.  We find them in all kinds of ridiculous places.

So people are saying they find their characters stopped in town when they previously left them auto pathing, so it must be a party invite exploit? This is once again a claim without proof.

Your character stops due to a random loading screen. I don't know what is causing it, but it happens frequently when auto pathing in towns.

Is this means the Auto Loop will broke and stop when a Guild member set a Guild route location with CTRL+Doubleclick?

I think the reason is to prevent party invites. Is this does not means this action need to stop the current action.

I returned to my computer after autlooping my horse and had a party invite from someone I did not know. I did not get kicked off my horse and my horse was still going on it's path, so are you sure??

That is a silly feature of the game and should be fixed.

Another way to prevent party invites is to go into another screen (map, knowledge etc) as I believe that rejects party invites. Easier than setting options.

If it's not related to party invites, you are likely encountering the issue FliP mentioned, where you get a random load screen. Before you AFK, set your chat to Guild or something other than General. When you come back and if you're stopped, if you're chat is on General, you've been hit by a loading screen.

I can't do anything AFK other than fishing when on my house internet because the loading screens interfere to the point where exp gain is next to none, and I only have limited data on my mobile so I just fish. A few nights ago I had my character set up for auto loop strength training in Valencia. All four times I checked throughout the night, my character had stopped and gained barely anything experience wise. This has been occurring since the Node War patch. Prior to then, the only thing that would interfere with my AFK training was disconnection or getting stuck on things.

Though since you mentioned that party invites may also knock you out of auto looping, I'll warn my friends. Thanks for sharing this information.
