Red Battle Field or Large Scale PvP

I noticed two issues in the Red battlefield or Large Scale PvP. I wanted to ask if there are workarounds, or if others experience the same issues?

 

1. Grab misses exponentially more in these situations (my thinking is this is due to server –client dysnc/lag). IOW the players on my screen are not in the position I see when I try to grab, the server has them further away and grab fails?

 

 2.   Unless I get someone off away from the crowd when I do get them down I can’t get off any attack combos due to cc from all the other players. IOW once I start the combo I become vulnerable to other players cc and can't get a combo off.

 

Is there an I-Frame attack combo I’m not aware of that I can use? I even get cc’d in the middle of Scars which I thought gave me an I-frame.

 

I don’t experience these problems in small scale fights 3v3 or less. FYI I have a good rig (i-7 6700k, 32GB ram, 980GTX, 1TB SSD) and Internet/ping to the server. I don’t think this is the problem

You got it right.  We are currently fodder atm like we've always been; that's why we had always asked for buffs to fix these situations.  The only true viable situation against a true competitive team/guild would be just full dp and popping a thorn to protect a fort/push but even that went out that window with the ninja nerf to no black spirit % gains from blocking.

It's bit iroic that in larger scale PvP my role as  warior is to stay in the back lines to protect ranged DPS. Because of the issues in my OP I can't be effective near the front of a large scale fight.

I play it entirely different. The best plays I've had I've had charging through or past their frontline and into the backline. Getting behind enemy wizards to interrupt heals and large casts completely devastate the enemy - and while we might not have enough damage to actually kill someone, stunning, slowing and locking down enemies for our teammates at least does not make us entirely useless.

Once you get behind many enemies how do you avoid being overwhelming CC'd to do anything other than block? Thats the issue I have with large fights, theres so much cc trained on you at the front or inside the enemy it's impossible to do anyting. At that point I'm constantly holding my head (stunned), or laying on the ground. FYI my stun resist is 57 and my KD is 50.

If I get focused by CC classes I won't drop my block, but if I get focused that also means I'm keeping 1-3 members of the other team occupied - which basically just means the other team is doing my job and I've created an opening for the rest of my team to engage on someone. Just stay the ----- away from berserkers.

wat you do is go for large groups and gank them with an aoe cc like ground smash or chopping kick and run away (if you gotthem all down at once do some extra SS cancel dmg but run away quicky). Through this process you will easily stack enough rage every minut or so, that you can use to easily snab 10 kills from your buddy wizards. I always average 60 points a round by doing this.
