I renamed the file xcorona.xem to old, but the 32 bit version is still running despite no new download of the 32 bit file.  I do not have the file in blackdesert/bin/xc/na/1 or two, only x3.xem and xnina.xem.  How is the 32 bit version running if the game didn't redownload it into the bin64/xc/ folder?  I also set the priority to low, but no apparent change.

I understand the fix might not work for everyone, but it seems strange the 32 bit file didn't replace itself, yet is still running after the name change.  I'll try deleting it, but I don't see the difference between the two.

Edit:  And now the 32 bit file is there again.  Tried deleting the log file as well.  It's a shame a potential fix for my out of control CPU usage and spiking temps is sitting right there with no way to run the file.  Why is the 32 bit version of the file in the 64 bit folder anyway, but not in the 32 bit folder?

High CPU usage is crazy on today's patch 4/19/2017.

Upwards of 80% CPU used even out of town for no reason.

Doing the trick mentioned here doesn't lower the CPU usage.

Also remember most of the time when there's a new patch it installs those files again so I would check after every maintenance and get rid of them again.

BlackDesert64 has like twice the CPU usage for last few weeks than it has before for me... Coherent_UI is separate process (blackspirit adventure) which rarely goes over, but you realize it right away bcs whole PC goes bonkers... You can jsut close it... But i have yet to find why BDO itself is eating more CPU than before, even in tray and even after activating low power mode again...

This might be my issue. I was complaining the other day of my CPU resource utilization on this game spiking to 70-80% even though my processor is bit new i5-7500 i thought it was normal but this might be a fixed for me.. I'll this later.

On my i7 5960X the game only ever uses one core and that between 10 and 20 %. My machine could run the game in sleep mode. Why there isn't better use of the hardware for higher FPS, I don't know. Headroom would be plenty.

Yep, it is back, minimum usage 25%, rising all the way up to 50%+ from time to time, more than BDO itself.... Makes the game borderline unplayable....none of the mentioned fixes work anymore...I don't even know at this point tbh...

Edit: Went to 0% usage for a few seconds, then jumped back up to 25%......seems like it's broken af...

Well is it better to necro this or start new threads again and again? I´m glad this was brought up again because xcorona is using an insane amount of cpu now. Not gonna afk anymore as long as this remains. I can´t set the priority to low, do I need to do this as admin or something? :C Also deleting the 32 didn´t work for me either, it just keeps using them.

Same here. It gets really bad when that is at 25% and the Coherents go up to 25%  lol, then you add the game usage % = LOL

Fix yo shit.

shrug i have no problem running 64bit OS and i got blackdesert running 24/7 from main to main no problems i can even run multiple other games or programs with no problem.

So i dont think its only a coding problem but also how you build your rig.

Still the same problem after the patch. @Valkeries I'm glad you don't have the problem and that your game is running beautifully but I for one and not saying it is the games fault. It may well be a problem with my computer, I doubt that it is as it was never a problem until yesterday and i have been playing since launch. We are however looking for assistance in solving the problem so we can get back to enjoying the game too.

Deleted xcorona and xmag in all folders, set them to read only, still every time I launch it just creates a new xcorona and runs the 32... don´t know any further from here X:

Yea this is getting pretty absurd of them letting this go for so long without any indication they are looking it, or even acknowledge that they know or care enough about it.
